Ruby's Diner - Anything gluten-free?

So my extended family is all getting together for a big dinner at Ruby's Diner. I've Googled, and I've searched through here, and I don't see any glimmer of hope that there's safe food there. Does anyone have knowledge or experience with eating gluten-free at Ruby's Diner? Am I out of luck? (Maybe I could bring my own food?)

I haven't looked at their menu since last year, so I don't know if this is still available. They used to have a hamburger salad. This is a hamburger patty on top of a salad. Not very appealing to me anyway. But it looked like the only option on the menu. We were going to go there for a charity thing but didn't because daughter refused to go.

You would have to tell them to make sure the food isn't cross contaminated. As for brining your own food, they may not allow this. It is not allowed in the state of WA due to health code violations.

As long as they don't heat the buns up on the same grill as the burgers, I would think you could get a protein burger and a green salad. I would definitely be going for the cherry coke!! Haven't eaten there since our diagnosis, my favorite thing was the turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce.......

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
