If you feeling better while smoking is related to the celiac disease, then hopefully now that you're gluten-free, you won't feel worse when giving it up this time! :-)

Interesting... :huh: but I think I'd rather take my changes with celiac disease! 1:2 chance of getting cancer (or something like that) vs. 1:150 of getting celiac

Wish it had worked for me. I was still smoking when I developed celiac disease. And it wasa because of the celiac disease that I quit. I was so ill from the celiac disease I was either in the hopsital or too weak to smoke for three weeks. Haven't had one in close to four years now.

In germany we say "Smoked is longer durable". :lol: Of course, that's translated literally. First people meant smoked meat, now it's a joke for smokers...

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
