Looking Up!

I hope there's not like 30000 threads of this nature out there, but I need a place to say it!

Almost 3 weeks in--My anxiety, heartburn, and general moodiness are easing up (still there, but easier to deal with). Liquid poo looks to be a thing of the past. I have some gas, so some food isn't agreeing with me I think (eggs? I had eggs today).

Baby steps, right? I have yet to master the art of several small meals a day (which seems like the best method of eating for me, but I still wait until my stomach is growling LOUDLY before I put something in my belly, and sometimes still want to stuff my face till I feel bloated...). I'm going to truly get rid of corn, soy, refined sugar, eggs, and especially dairy etc. For now.

But by golly things are looking up! :D Even my dad said, "You seem really chipper today." Well, today I did cry over lost items, and lost my temper over something dumb... but no massive tear loss. It wasn't the massive emotional breakdowns I've had before. There's SOMETHING going on! It feels good.

Congrats! You are on the right path! I felt better after a few weeks too, and it kept getting better and better for me! Good luck!

This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
