I agree with Trents. And if you already have other health issues, it is just one other thing to have to think about.    But on the matter of other health issues, depending on what they are, you may find that coming off gluten might help, which could be an unexpected bonus.  

Yes that would be the generic manufacturer. My pharmacist and Aurobindo confirmed "no wheat", and from what I have been able to gather progesterone does not typically have gluten in the pills. I also don't have "gluten symptoms" but my celiac bloodwork is completely out of whack - not sure what is going on "with us", but lets keep the post going as we find more information. Best of luck

My daughter was tested for celiac because it runs in the family. She is positive for the celiac gene. she has an IGA deficiency so she also gets tested for IgG. The range is  >9 positive. Her bloodwork shows she is a 10 for t-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgG . We have done several tests over the past 2 years due to many different reasons and this number has gone a little up or a little down but never higher than 17. Her Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgG once went up but now is normal. She also possibly has another autoimmune disease. Her biopsy was negative. I am curious to know why only the tTG is high and not going higher? Is this celiac or not?

My doctor stated 4 slices of whole wheat bread for 4 weeks then take the blood work to diagnose. So I guess this is what I have to look forward to in the fall not to ruin summer plans with my family. I'm still confused on what the diagnose would tell me from the blood work. If it says Im gluten sensitive then I already know that from elimination diet and that won't help but how will the blood show vitamins I'm deficient in compared to my yearly physical blood work for vitamin results? Sorry I just get confused on what the blood results will tell me. If it's just to confirm gluten sensitivity then what good will that be as I've already eliminated gluten from my diet. Wouldn't adding gotten for 4 weeks just to confirm cause damage.

I have positive Ttg-IGA antibodies- and I have every time they have been checked. Also the antibodies do respond positively to a gluten free diet. However my biopsy showed no damage and my doc said it all looked okay in there. How does this happen and What does this mean??
