Can we have Bragg's Amino Acids? Or does this have GLUTEN? Thank you!

Hello Willamina,

I've been wondering about Braggs, too. I bought a bottle a few weeks ago but haven't used it because I'm not certain that it's gluten-free. It sounds like it's gluten-free and one of these days I'm going to contact the company. I guess I haven't done that yet because I'm not so sure that soy isn't a problem for me as well. When I do contact the company, I'll post their response. Of course, you could do the same.

In the meantime, I use San-j Reduced Sodium Tamari/Organic Wheat Free Soy Sauce just about every day with no problem at all. It's the bottle with the gray, red and blue label. San-j sells many different tamari/soy sauces, so make sure you pick the right one!

Have a great day - Toni

Hello again -

Duh! Just realized I said a silly thing. Soy sauce has soybeans in it so since the San-J gluten-free tamari/soy sauce doesn't bother me, Bragg's probably won't either, as long as it's gluten-free. I'll blame my lack of follow-through thinking to it being so early in the morning and the fact that I really should be getting ready for work, not sitting at my computer!

Have a good one - Toni

Yep you can use Bragg's it's just no very good. Try the San J it's very good but surprise it's expensive. I also just found a light soya sauce that we can have. Although I can't remember the name.

I can't eat Soy, so I use Ume Plum Vinegar, by Eden Selected, instead.

It tastes "almost" like a soy sauce....of course, if you can't tollerate soy, it is better than nothing!! :P

I find that Bragg's Liquid Amino is a palatable substitute for regular soy sauce. I've been off the wagon for a little while and recently had symptoms give me a gentle reminder to get back on.

There is no minimum time since diagnosis of refractory coeliac disease to be eligible for this research. The research is a feasibility study for people with refractory coeliac disease since there is currently no psychologically based intervention tailored for refractory coeliac. The aim of this research is to provide therapeutic support that is not routinely offered at gastroenterology clinics thus encourages people to maintain wellbeing in consideration of having symptoms despite a gluten free diet. Hope you gain further clarity and some relief following your endoscopy!

Is there a minimum time since diagnosis of refractory celiac disease?  I really hope I’m not eligible for your study, but looking for it is one reason my gastroenterologist suggested an endoscopy. I’m having it later this month, due to still having GI symptoms on a strict gluten free diet.

There's a company called thistle subscription based food completely gluten free plant based. They offer juices, juice shots. I was wondering has anyone made their own juices shots for anti inflammatory gut healthy juices etc?

If you prepare gluten free and eat  gluten free but feel stomach pains hours later what makes it gluten contamination vs. something else you may have ate etc? anything to differentiate in symptoms? Thanks

Anyone diagnosed with Refractory Coeliac Disease can participate (they do not need to be in the UK but would need to be able to speak and understand English as the intervention is facilitated in English language)
