    They checked for a milk allergy and she was neg. Also I called the pediasure company a while ago and it is safe for celiacs. But carnation instant breakfast is not. I do have that book. It is good. The reason I am worried is because she was starting to gain,But now she is losing. The GI wants me to make an appt with the ped. Thanks

    Good afternoon everyone. I am very worried right now. Nicole has been on the diet now since July 22nd. The past few days she hasn't been doing so bad she is actually eating okay.     No sores in her mouth. Her cheeks are still broken out. And get more red and broken out looking in the sun. Got the fever back again yesterday 102.3. This am 99.7 Lost more weight also.     It is weird because it looks like the viral rash but all over her cheeks on her ears down her front and back and even on her but cheeks (not a diaper rash).

    This is confusing me. Because when she started with the fever it came on tuesday night,Then was gone by 10am wednesday am. Didn't get higher than 101.6.     The last time nicole was sick,Which was on june 9-12th she had consistant fevers from 101-105.3 which it was lower only if she had motrin in her,Then as soon as it wore off the fever would spike again.     Oh so its the ped that is telling you that? Can you get a new pedi? Or is that dr the only one? That is bad. I would call someone and tell them the dr is treating you like that. Or maybe get someone like an official to refer you to go to the ER? I am just guessing here.

    That is so awful. I would think it would be the other way around If you didnt take him in they would call,but not for caring. That is wrong. I would definetely call the ped.     at the time of her blood test on june 15th they tested for Milk which was a little higher than norm,but said not high enough to cause concern. egg white,peanut,soy,wheat, which were all negative. But that is all they did. Not sure what is next.

    I was talking to the GI nurse about this yesterday and it doesn't absorb through skin. But they can get it after playing with it and then touching their mouths or hands in their mouth.

    Soooo happy right now. Nicole loves the tootsie roll pops and the charms ones. Ans I was at their site and it says that their products are gluten free and nut free and do not use wheat,rye oats etc.

    Nicole had her visit with the GI nurse today. Found out that her IgE count has nothing to do with the celiac,It is something else,But do not know what. Also found out that she has besides celiac is chronic gastritis,and esophagitis. The dr is going to put her on prevacid.Then hopefully she will eat again.     It has been 2 months tomorrow since nicole has had a fever. Tonite she started one again. She has been gluten free since july 22,2006. Why would she have another fever? I posted this already but my post never showed up. She is seeing the GI nurse tomorrow for her visit anyway,So I guess it is good timing for it. we'll see. Celina

    I dont understand nicole has been gluten free since July 22nd,2006 and her last fever was 2 months ago,June 9th and here we are almost aug 9th and she is starting another.     These are a friend I have been emailing,They are her 2 yr old daughters numbers. She is making an appt with a GI. The mothers has believed she had celiac anyway. Do you know these?
