    I had my older daughter tested because nicole was + and she also had no symptoms but here results were high. Normal is <4 and her;s were 32. She also has had eczema but also has asthma too. but havn't seen the eczema in a while. They do say have all 1st degree relatives tested because they won't all have symptoms but still have the damage. Celina

    I really want to get to a trader joes there is one I think about 45 min from my house. A friend from the celiac support group who children also have celiac was telling me about it. Also I looked up the tot locks and they look great I just hope they work on my cabinets The cabinets we have are a double door type so there is no wood thing in the middle of them...

    My older daughter alivia is making me very upset. Just about every night she get's up in the middle of the night when we are all sleeping and gets a snack,She doesn't know if it is gluten-free or not but she doesn't care either because she does not react to gluten we only had her tested because nicole was positive,and alivia also was positive throught bw...

    both of my daughters have Celiac. Me and my husband are both neg for it. WE do not know who else in our families have it either.

    Just make sure before you bring peanut butter or any nuts to school. Make sure is is not a nut free school. My daughter's are it is much harder because they both love PB and some nuts but they are not allowed in the school.

    Nicole-- 80 Positive Normal range <20 Alivia--32.4 H Normal range <4 they were tested at 2 different labs at different times had alivia tested because nicole was positive,no symptoms but nicole was very sick

    She did show a milk allergy so she is on soy milk and doing good with that. She used to be around the 90 % now shis is hovering around the 30%. She just looks pretty skinny.

    I keep hearing all these great stories about how all your kids are gaining weight and doind awesome. But Nicole has been on the diet now for 5 months and she did gain a little weight but she lost it again. She got up to 30 lbs but now she is 28.5. I know she is totally gluten free because I am with her all day. And look at every label. Any ideas? Thanks...

    My daughters Ttg was 80 and the normal for the lab is <20. Havn't had the follow up blood work yet due to 3 cheerios she ate.

    if you look at the ingredients in one of the rice cereals out there there is barley or something like that in it,So it is not gluten free. Celina

    She is positive for Celiac Disease also. It shows moderate to severe damage in her intestines. Now she will be going totally gluten free just like her sister. Celina

    Maybe have her read some of the effects that can occur if not on the diet and are celiac like the other autoimmune diseases that they have a higher risk of getting,Malnurished,developmental delays,ADHD, or have to speak with a gastroenterologist and have him explain it to her and take it from there. I hope it all workls out. My now 3 yr old had the bloated...

    Sorry about the info. That is what I got from the results she had. All her other tests were neg. and the Ttg was the only positive one. I just thought that that was the one that was to be positive for celiac. Guess I was wrong,sorry. Celina

    That is what happened to my 3 yr old daughter after she ate 3 cheerios she got a fever of 101 layed on the couch for the day and got bloated belly look./ my other daughter who we are waiting for her results has an allergy to grapes and some turkey she will get a splotchy red red on her cheeks that spreads to her chest and back and spikes a fever of 101-...

    I think it means negative for celiac. The transglutaminase IGA is the celiac test and they look neg. That's just my opinion though. Celina

    The results should be in friday or the latest monday. Nicole's pre-k teacher called me today she is coming for a home visit friday and she will start pre-k next week. They will transition her in. Should be exciting Celina p.s. I will post the results of alivia's biopsy as soon as I know. Thanks

    I looked up the ingredients and pretty sure they are gluten free. But I guess their labeling can change. Celina what else could it be?

    wow. this is weird. Nicole had rotvirus when she was 1 yr and she got much worse after that too. Also right after the roto she got the flu, and pneumonia within a 2 week period. It was a bad winter celina

    Everything went good. She did great we were home by 11:15am. The dr said by what he saw it looks like Celiac but we have to wait for the biopsy results. Hopefully the end of the week we will know 100%. Thanks Celina

    Thankd for all the advice. I am keeping her up later and giving her a snack before bed in hopes that it will keep her tummy fuller longer. Thanks Celina I will post how it goes, Thanks
