ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Dear Carla, I am glad you got through the mercury removals alright! A lot of people are skeptical of Kinesiology. I say, if it works for you, who freakin' cares what other people think? The other doctors can think these people are quacks if they want, but that does not change the fact that their patients get better, while conventional doctors... -
ARCHIVED Toma's Tan Perfect Gluten-free Or Not?
NoGluGirl posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Dear Gluten-Free Friends, Does anyone know if Toma's Tan Perfect is gluten-free? I cannot find anything on the gluten status. It is the best self-tanner I have ever used! All of the others did not work. You name it, I have tried it. Neutragena, UnSun, Ban de Soleil, Estee Lauder, and so many others it is unreal! I would appreciate... -

Dear Bev, Autora prolifica! Now there is something I could use to confuse people with! I hope this new batch of OPI lacquers are safe, too! These are brand new! I usually do not paint my fingernails, just my toes. I have to wash dishes and clean around here, so the polish wears off too quickly otherwise. My toes have it stay on pretty well... -

Dear Rachel, Is that weird or what about other Rachelvilles? At least if you Google Rachelville, we come up in the top three! We are important! I am sure our town is the best one, though! Plus, it is a lot more fun! I know that racheled by the yeast feeling! Sometimes, I think I have completely lost it! my balance... -

Dear Donna, It is so hard to resist temptation! I would not know what to do either! I am going to get the yeast-free gluten-free bread tomorrow. The bread has started to irritate my system now. There are only two pieces left. After tomorrow, I can get some Chebe and the other bread I just mentioned. You said you had some... -

Dear Lisa, Still awake! I woke up at about midnight. I probably will be awake until early afternoon. I told you my body is messed up! My sleep schedules are like on swing-shift or something. Sincerely, Jin -

Dear Claire, I understand why you would be nervous about getting the amalgams out. I am glad I never had any until now! I had a root canal last year, and need two more. I think I may be better off pulling those two molars and getting a partial. I am concerned keeping rotted teeth in there will do more harm than good. The root... -
ARCHIVED Diagnosed For 2 Months. Miss Sandwiches. Help?
NoGluGirl replied to geeze's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Dear Ed, I am so shocked that your Wal-Mart does not carry DeBoles! However, ours is a supercenter. Still, if they carry the Great Value Brand, you would think that they would be marked gluten-free on the items that are safe. It is usually by the copyright. That will make it easier for you! I was pleasantly surprised by the DeBoles... -

Dear Andrea, I am not sure I want to know what is in those things either! The sausage biscuits becoming like that make you wonder. Maybe it had something to do with the cigarette smoke. Dad smokes like a chimney. It really is a bit frightening when you think of all of the chemical possibilities. Talitha sure is doing great... -

Dear Sherry, There is bound to be something about the excessive amount of copper. I really think Lyme could be behind it. I know it is typical to have low levels of it instead, but there are exceptions. We just have to keep looking! I will try another search engine and see if anything good pops up. Dear Donna, I recall... -
ARCHIVED 3 Year Old Negative Blood Tests, Positive Enterolab: Need Advice
NoGluGirl replied to arlingtonmom's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
Dear arlingtonmom, I tested seronegative, but am Celiac. Some more recent reports have found that those who test seronegative actually have those most severe cases of Celiac. I think you were very wise to do the lab tests. The gluten-free diet is good to be on! I had digestive issues from birth. It got worse and worse as I got older. Now... -

Dear Sherry, I wonder if there is a metabolic disorder that causes copper to build up in your system. I know Lyme can cause mercury and lead to stay in the system instead of being excreted. I do not know why copper would be any different. It could just be the Lyme itself making the copper level excessive. It would not be surprising. ... -

Dear Ed, Wal-Mart has DeBoles pasta. We only get the Penne. It is nice to have on hand! I was pleasantly surprised when it did not taste like icky Play-Doh. That was really disgusting! What is really good is, get some of it with some Great Value Italian Garden Vegetables Pasta Sauce, then have some sausage (Jimmy Dean Fresh Taste Fast) cooked... -

Dear Rachel, That is really interesting about Asyra. Is that available through ART? I need to find out of there is anyone who does BioSet or ART here. Scott would be able to tell me, I am sure. At least when I am able to afford it, I will know who to go to! Modifilin does not sound compatible for everyone. It varies from... -

Dear lonewolf, I have a Foreman grill already! I am good there! Once, when I went to Tennessee, there was this delicious sandwich. I still remember it! I would love to recreate it! It was grilled chicken, with some red hot cayenne pepper, sliced tomato, and cheese. Sincerely, NoGluGirl -

Dear Mia, I hope the Black Walnut helps! I think your doctor has a good idea of what is going to be beneficial. The treatment might have made you react. There are many variables, though. It is probably a good idea to call him and ask, as you said. That is wonderful news about the almond butter! It is great you are tolerating... -

Dear Karen, These are great ideas! I have been collaborating with someone else on the forum about a cookbook. He also thinks I would be a good cooking show host. So, "Tastebud Adventures With NoGluGirl" is what is going to be called. My father could do the camera work. RiceGuy and I decided YouTube would be the best place to put it. ... -

Dear Karen, Those sound great! I would love to do paninis as well. I wonder if I could use my Foreman grill for that? They are basically just grilled sandwiches. I was surprised at these being priced so low! I have got to try Chebe! Thanks again for reminding me about it! Sincerely, NoGluGirl -

Dear Rinne, Isn't it annoying when people insult your intelligence? Especially when it is the media? Half of these people judge the celebrities, which they have no right to do. They talk about how bazaar celebrities' behavior is. There is not such real thing as journalism anymore. All they do is talk about their opinions. What happened to... -

Dear Rinne, I am sure the exam went badly. I only got 70 points out of 250 possible. I had no clue. I tried so hard to do it right. It is just, without the financial calculator, that really complicated everything. Believe me, I would never be so happy to be wrong in my life if this was actually something I would pass. The thing is, I have... -

Dear Lisa, I agree that stress makes things worse as well. I tend to worry and make myself sicker, too. It is difficult not to. Our health makes everything more difficult to deal with than it normally would be. Simple things like going to the doctor or dentist are much more stressful and complicated than they are for other healthy people. ... -

Dear Donna, Those EFAs sure did a number on a lot of people! I do not think I want to even attempt the fish oil! Since I probably have mercury poisoning, that would only add to the burden anyway. Maybe flaxseed oil is something you could tolerate. There is also borage oil. I am glad to hear the shoulder pain has improved...
