  1. Has anyone had recent experiences at any Princeton NJ area restaurants aside from the major chains? Not too expensive but not a hamburger place. Thanks.
  2. There's a great health food store (Sorry I can't remember the name but it's in the phone book) almost across the highway near the Hampton Inn at the extension of College Ave. The Tavern Restauarant was able to accommodate me for dinner with a call ahead of time and a talk with the hostess. Also there's a Wegman's outside of town which has a great gluten...
  3. HI - we're going to be in Bethany Beach the first week of Sept. I was just about to post the same question. The only thing I know of is that there is a great health food store in Bethany called Wholesome Habits. It's just about across of the Sea Colony. They have a lot of gluten-free foods, and last time we were there they steered us to several places...
  4. Going to this area in a few weeks and I need some dining suggestions for these areas in Md - Not too expensive. Thanks, Christy
  5. I'm so glad you posted this as I am going there in September and wasn't sure how it was going to be. Any other information please let me know. Thanks, Christy
  6. Has anyone had any experience at any of the restaurants in the Pocono Mts. of Pa recently? Would love to go there but not sure of any restaurants in the area. Thank you
  7. HI - We are going to the Pocono Mountains in PA for a few days in March and wondered if anyone has had any positive experiences at any of the resorts. We're looking at Woodloch Pines. Thanks,
  8. I am so glad to hear about this place as it less than 10 minutes from me and I would never have considered it. Thanks for posting.
  9. HI-Just noticed your message - If you like Thai food there is a Thai restaurant called My Thai in the Rittenhouse Sq section in center city - They are well up on gluten-free food. Dietary Shoppe has closed. There is a good Whole Foods in center City (actually 2, depending on where you are) and also a Trader Joe's. I heartily recommend Mr. Ritts - they...

  11. I'll be coming from the south - Central Pennsylvania so won't be going too muuch further but may get to drive around the area - Watkins Glen, etc.
  12. Hi - I am going to be in Ithaca, NY, next weekend. Any dining suggestions or must-sees? Thanks, Christy
  13. HI Judy - WE're just going there to tour some of the spots I've read about, including Grey Towers. THanks for the information. I'm posting on a few other sites and will let you know if I find out anything or when we return what I've found out so you can try going there also. Christy
  14. HI All - I'll be spending several days in the Milford, PA, area and need suggestions for dining options - restaurants, not food shopping. It seems there was a thread a while back about this area but I can't find it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also any places you have stayed at and liked. Thanks in advance. Christy
  15. Thanks for the many suggestions. I have emailed the creamery and was very sorry to find out that in addition to the obvious ice creams that have cookie inclusions they cannot say any other flavor is gluten-free because the sugar that is used comes from a mill that also grinds wheat flour!
  16. HI All - I will be in State College, PA in a few weeks and wondered if there are any restaurant suggestions for that are that are celiac-friendly? Thanks.
  17. [] HI - I finally found some of my notes. The Health Food Store is in Bethany Beach and is called Wholesome Habits. The restaurant there is called Steakhouse 26. In O.C. (or just outside of it) there is Carrabas, Outback and I think Bonefish Grill which all have gluten-free menus. Thrashers french Fries and Kohls' ice cream both on the boardwalk there...
  18. HI - I was in O.C. Md last Sept. If you can get to Bethany Beach (about 8 miles north) there is a great health food store just as you come into town (at a shopping center across from the high rises) that has lots of gluten-free products. The owner was there and told me about several restaurants in the area that are well informed. I think one was called...
