  1. My daughter is 20 months and we have done 2 birthday parties successfully, we have eaten out a few times successfully (at places with and with out gluten free menus) HEre is what we do! Instead of Chicken nugets: Unbreaded chicken breast cooked on a clean grill or pan cut up into strips that resemble nugets! Usually I get her a side of steamed veggies...
  2. I had never heard of celiac until my Pediatric GI called me up and told me she tested positive for it. She was tested for a whole bunch of other stuff because of family history and she said "and we will run a bunch of others just to rule out anything else" It was in the "bunch of other" tests. My dd's symptoms were atypical... she just vomited 1-2 times...

  8. I've used the envirokids vanilla gluten free animal cookies for things like cheese cake crust... they are very tasty, I'd try them.
  9. okay here are my results..... My flour mix didn't work well at all for Krumkake... but it made a tasty chocolate chip cookie! I did find something that works great!   11. DD has has some seriously runny BM's today and now she has a painful diaper rash. She's had a bit of a cold for about a week now and I think she is teething, plus we ate at a restraunt this weekend and went to a birthday party. So basically she could have been glutened or not! Any tips on telling the difference between being sick and being glutened?

  15. I was introduced to dining cards (I have the Triumph brand) by a college student. She said she takes them with her to eat and gives them to the cooks. She's had great luck with them... and so have I (thought I only use them for eating out since I'm out of school)
