She hasn't even eaten today, but I gave her gluten yesterday trying to evoke an attack because I'm hoping to get her tested today. I'm sitting here right now almost crying!! You are decribing my 2 yr. old to a T!! Yesterday I loaded her up with Gluten and her face broke out in that darn rash and she also broke out in a few other places. Then she gets very red eyes and gets so sleepy and cranky. Ok I've never been on crack or any other non prescription drugs before but yesterday when I filled up on Gluten to see if I could envoke some sort of reaction my body went absolutely wild. I've read that self basting turkeys have gluten in them!! I guess it's recommended that you DO NOT eat any type of self basting turkey!! I have no idea how true it is, but I read it yesterday somewhere!! ~~A~~

Thank you so much everyone for the info. It's so helpful!! I am just beside myself right now and don't have a clue where to go from here. I just can NOT get over the fact that this disease fell in my lap and is the only thing that explains my years and years of symptoms and then to top it all off my daughter has a skin condition that (seems) typical of Celiac... -

My pediatrician probably has no clue how to do it. If I have to wait to get into a speicialist I swear I'll lose it. I have been living with this stuff for years and at this point I'm pretty sure it's caused me permanent nerve damadge. I CAN NOT allow that to happen to my daughter. my daughter has an appt with the pediatrician tomorrow and she does not want to eat anymore because it makes her sick so she only wants to constantly drink milk. She does have quite a few spots still left on her and she broke out with some more today. Can the pediatrician do the skin biopsy? If so will it test positive if she only has a small amount of gluten... -
