I am wondering if anyone has experienced any trouble with dum dums or tootsie pop lollipos??? My son has gotten in to soemthig n and I can not pin point it???? The companies say they are gluten free? I am wondering.... could the sucker STICK contain gluten???

did you ever try dum dums again or have trouble?? I am suspicious of them with my son. i was wondering if the "stick" coudl posssibly contin gluten????

so what is the general rule? if a product says it is gluten free or has no gluten ingredients on the label but says its produced in a facility that handles wheat..... what are we supposed to do?? do we worry about cross contamination and play it better safe than sorry???

my 2 year old son has celiac disease. My 4 month old just had the gene test and is positive for DQ-8 and negative for DQ-2. Does anyone know if its better to have one or the other gene? are the odds higher with one ?? are the odds higher if he had both genes?? or doesnt it matter???? thanks!!!

However I breastfed my other son- (who is now 2 and has celiac) and ate plenty of gluten. I wonder if I harmed him by not being gluten free while breastfeeding him?

i too am a little confused on when to introduce gluten to my 4 month old son who has the gene. my 2 year old has celiac. we had the genetic test done at 3 months. our pediatric GI said to introduce small amounts between 4-6 months?? but i wonder if i should wait much longer? but the doc says to introduce it soon and watch for signs and symptoms...
