  3. when i use to make homemade pizza with normal flour dough.. i would ALWAYS precook the dough the first. throw it in the oven for 10 min before throwing toppings on it. and then cook it again with the toppings. i recommend the lower temp-longer time thing too. and i also recommend the pan with holes =) thats what i use. or a pizza stone! my dad loves his...
  4. sorry to sound totally ignorant, im very very new to this whole..gluten thing. but...how does one get gluttend from a body wash? dont you have to injest it somehow to get the effects? sorry for the dumb question =)

  6. that is SO true! i was talking to mom abotu that the other day- shes on a lowdose antidepressent for sleep..so is my dad and my sister. and mom mentioned that that might be something i wanna look into. she said she slept a ton and had no problems sleeping but wasnt gettin quality sleep and woek up tired, like me. but after looking into all this more serioisly...

  9. my food i eat nearly every day for lunch is granola/yougart and frozen raspberies or fresh cutup strawberries. lol. its quick, relativly cheap and super easy.

  11. i broke my foot (fractured the 4th metatarsal) on oct 2nd 2006.. and i didnt get off the crutches or out of the walking cast for 5 months. then it was another month and 1/2+ till i'm even close to normal. still have pain issues, weakness, am rather dependent on 800mg motrin when working.. and hafta wear tedhose when i'm working and i ice it on my breaks ...

  13. If you are going to go ahead with the blood tests and/or any other tests-- which you really should-- then you have to continue eating gluten. So my advice is to keep eating it for now, but go get the blood test as soon as possible. I think maybe you're more scared that it won't be the answer to your symptoms. After years of not having a correct diagnosis...
  14. ha. thats what i just did =) I sent off an email to my doc.. finally asking to run the celiac panal. I had talked to her about my symmptoms last year but was too chicken to mention celiac but she just told me its probably mild IBS and gave me zelnorm for the constipation..which has now been taken off the market. so i'll find out in a day or two if she will...

My moms friend brings her own noodles to whatever italian restraunt she goes out to with mom and they are more than happy to prepare her special noodles for her and then she just makes sure whatever sause she gets is gluten free. she said thai and mexican are usually pretty safe overall though, w/ mexican she said she has to make sure things like the enchilada...
