  1. I'm not in college, but I can suggest a few foods. I cook some at home, at intervals with my mom, and these are some of our favs. Ground beef/turkey/buffalo: you can do ANYTHING with this stuff. I'll post a couple of recipies if you need them. Frozen chicken tenders: I Looooove this stuff. You defrost and, yet again, do ANYTHING. we season it with Garlic...
  2. It just could be because guys have this "Strong" outside to keep up and if he admitted it here on a forum then... *Leaves sentance for readers to answer*
  3. My little bro has it too... And he eats my chocolate dounuts... kinda annoying... He's not on here. Or I would be hiding from shame.
  4. Congradulations! So i'm not the only Homeschooled teenager on this whole forum anymore...
  5. You're probably getting trace gluten is something or other. That happened to my mom. She drank Rice Dream rice milk and it contains barley. Very annoying. But from my limited experience, that's what's probably happening.
  6. I'm definately not a poster Celiac. Mood swings Tiredness Trouble focusing Stomach burning if I don't eat That's basically it. o.O I'm not the usual Celiac.
  7. I also do something called umbrella school. What that is is you send in work and they give you highschool credits, and when all is over and done, they give you a REAL highschool diploma. There are a few to choose from. The big one is NARS in Massechusets. (Sp?) There are more in every state, but you'd have to find them.
  8. There's always Virtual School. I think they have a Virtual School for almost every state. Some of my friends do Florida Virtual School. There is also something called SOS or Switched on Schoolhouse. It is a Christian program, so that's a problem for a lot of people. I am a more traditional homechooler. You can just buy the curriculum and do it. Like, I...
  9. WHY AREN'T THERE ANY KID SUPPORT MEETINGS IN FLORIDA!!!! Sorry, needed to get that out. There are none within a three-hour drive, and even the reg ones are far... Kinda frusterating. Only a couple of my friends understand. (A couple meaning two.) I don't hardly know any adults with celiac, let alone kids! Unless you count here on the forum... Then I know...
  10. I have celiac too. I don't usally tell people right off the bat, though most of my friends know. I'm not allowed to date 'till I'm 16... But whatever. Most of my guyfreinds are really sweet about it, though a couple are afraid to let me touch anything. ("Does that have gluten in it?" (talking about a banana) "No, It doesn't ." Does that have gluten in...
  11. With me, I'm not so sure, as my symptoms are differant than others. I get mood swings and am extremely... irritable. My mom took 15 minutes. Since I'm a moody teenager, It's hard for me to tell.
  12. I love PFChangs. It officially is my fav resturaut. I really like the doughnuts. If you think of the chocolate ones as cake, then life suddenly starts to go 'round again. yeah, I guess you could call me a geek too. I'm a pianist, poet, and writer that has a strange obsession with music. And bright colors. And costumes... I crave... *glances around* Crunch...
  13. OH-HEM-GEE!!! I EXIST!!! No, i've been dead in the bogs of SCHOOLWORK. They have consumed me and made me grow gills. *makes fish face. Hail our new queen Amanda! hail! hail! (Boy, I'm late...
  14. I think the last one is your thoughtful face! YOu should paint sheets. Just don't move them before they dry, or you'll end up having to do the same thing I did. Having to go under the thing and dry off the plastic! (Which is how i got paint in my hair in the first place... even though i think oil painting class did some of it...)
  15. Acrylic. It was for sets in the play, but i still managed to get some in my hair... go figure...
  16. Whoa... I refuse to read all I missed. We're four pages away from choosing a new queen!!! And today I drew a rocket on my brother's leg... And ran around like a banshee with my belt tied around my head... And did a stack of student day h/w... And got chewed out by my writing teacher... (from enrichment...) And Painted sheeets!! And got sharpie...
  17. I eat lays all the time with no symptoms. But my symptoms are faint and hard to detect, (Mood swings, being ready to kill someone at the drop of a hat... And extreme hyperness.) except for the silly thing. I get really silly... (aka, drawing a rocket ship on my brothers knee...)
  18. Welcome! I'm what you could call a geek to. I like to write, read, skate, poetry, Avatar... You get the the point!!! I'm homeschooled too, in fl. Go the the Sunshine State! (Or more accurately, the Plywood state...)
  19. O.o I want to win, not establish myself as a lunatic in front of the judges. It is a CHRISTIAN speech and debate league, so Chuck Norris is out. And I can't add anymore because it's already too long. :embarrased: Though I would if i didn't want to go to Nationals and try to keep myself slightly sane for debate. (Yes, its really hard to debate thinking about...
