  1. Hey! I don't know if everyone got this, but I decided to post this website. It is the most detailed and true description of celiac and is truly helpful. If you get low enough it tells you exactly what to watch out for. It's really great. Open Original Shared Link Just click on the thing and get reading! Even I got something from this and I've been studying...
  2. I eat rice as a staple, as i mentioned before. I actually eat rice leftovers for lunch, rice for dinner, and gluten-free waffled or doughnuts for brekfast. It's easier down here, though. I ate mostly rice before I was Celiac. We had bread with soup and stuff, but mostly rice. You know what you can do, is put chicken broth in your rice, or curry. (I don't...
  3. I've found gihardelliis and it's great! Not as sweet as I'm used to, but good all the same!
  4. I do, but I live in the land of delish Cuban food. I have rice every day at dinner. (beans and rice, pakistanikima and rice, chili and rice...)
  5. Ok! I did it! I did an All-nighter with no CC that i could find! I brought my own snacks and a pan of brownies to share, (one of my friends couldn't eat then because it had potato flour in it, she's allergic to potatos...) Potato chips, marshmellows, and coke. (I overpacked...) I don't think I got CC unless some crumbs floated onto my thing or something....
  6. I could be interested... I speak some spanish and am going to Spanish school in Costa Rica in the spring. I've never been to Europe... I'll look into it. (Even I know the Spaniards don't consider Latim spanish really spanish sometimes...)

  8. thank you! I've been seriously freaking out over this. But I'll have fun, (Julia will see to that...) and try not to get glutened!
  9. I'm really nervous. I'm going to my first sleepover as a celiac. We'll be up all night snacking and roleplaying till we drop! What I'm really nervous about is CC. With me so tired, I don't know what will happen!!! I'm going to pack food, though. Does anyone have any suggestions for food and ways to remember not to eat the popcorn without writing on my hands...
  10. Do you REALLY want me to explain all that? Ok. 1: The Danzon (pronounced Dan-son-with-an-almost-g-sound with a spanish accent) Is a spanish dance commonly done by the COURT of a Quincenera. I'm In my friend's Court this year and am dancing with an 11 year old that wouldn't know the Danzon from his left foot. (hence the frustration...) 2: the care bear...
  11. I'm not from India, but I can give you some basic tips! Use Google. It is your best friend. Be grateful for rice and curry. And I totally understand. At my friend's quince practice they had guava pastries! You've got to ignore it. It's hard, but you guys'll get through it.
  12. It's official. Either I suddenly became sane, or the Danzon is the most BORING dance on Earth. *eyelid twitches* I'm going to go insane from the boring-ness!!!! Me: AND i'm dancing the age of my little brother!!! Carebears-and-other-brainwashing-little-children-shows: HA! You de-serve it. Me: WATCH IT! CAOBLCS(see above): NOOOOOOO!!! Save us and our...

  14. Well, I love Chebe. And Kinnickinick. The dounuts taste like brownies! Yummy! Calorie-full but w/e. The quinoa pasta is good also.
  15. Well, there was that one about the giant spider made of cake... Non-gluten-free, of course. For some reason it looked like a spider Ursula. But I have WIERD dreams.
  16. Not allowed to say. I don't want stalkers hunting me down. Not that I think any of you are stalkers, but anyone can read this. So... yeah. I live in FL and that's about all I'm allowed to say.
  17. Ooo. I forgot to add the small but relevant fact that I can't use anything with wax in it. It makes the skin around my lips break out. (even burt's bees. Don't ask.) So It was hard BEFORE celiac...
  18. Ok, i'm sorry, but I just have to put this up. The class was having show and tell and the teacher asked for everyone to bring something representing thier religion. One girl said, "My name is Mary. I'm a Catholic and this is a rosary." Another Boy said, "My name is Benjaman. I'm Jewish and this is the Star of David." Finally a boy stood up and said...
