  4. Ummmm . . . No . . . thought I was starting another cold (seems like they've been nonstop since October) but today I'm running a fever . . . called in sick. I tried to get me own sub first and found out that there are (at least) three of us out today out of a total of 10 . . . ok, should I do a little mathS here and convert that into a fraction?? percentages...
  5. As far as feeling sick after eating at Boston Market . . . there is always the possibility of cross-contamination (called cc on this site) at restaurants. There is also a chance that you may be reacting to dairy. Many celiacs may have problems with dairy (lactose intolerance) . . . for most it is a short term problem until their intestines heal. If you...
  6. Because you are in shock and you are mourning your "lost food" . . . it's a big deal and it's OK to be emotional - it will pass. I cried because she wasn't ever going to get to eat cheesecake and she didn't...

The best best man speech that I ever heard was at me best friend's wedding . . . he wrote a song, played it on his gee-tar and sang (quite well) and it was...
  10. I tell people that gluten free is just like the gluten stuff . . . homemade tastes the best, then the mixes and then the premade . . . however, I think with gluten free, the difference is more pronounced. Once again, our household votes for the Pamela's pancake and baking mix . . . it makes a good pancake and there are recipes for many other things. ...
  11. We prefer the Pamela's here . . . it's easy to make and we use a bread machine so just dump it in and go. We didn't care for the Bob's Red Mill . . . the one that has the bean flours in it (don't know if all of BRM's have bean flours but I know the one we tried did) and I have found this to be true of just about anything that we've tried with the bean...
  12. I'm going to join you all . . . have watched this thread off and on and have also watched my weight creep up and up. As of today, I have about 25 pounds to lose .
