Yes, I had issues with my gums and teeth, but it was not from gingivitis in my case. For me it was acid reflux. I didn't even know it was acid reflux until my doctor figured it out. Nope you're not the only one. I used to get bad hunger pains followed by the shakes and irritability, followed by headache or migraine. That was if i didn't eat every 2-3 hours or so. I can now go 4-6 hours between meals, and I don't ever get that severe hunger I used to have. I don't miss it!

Some ginger tea might help as well. I used that with some success.

For the interim flare ups after I got off the PPIs I took good old Pepto Bismol. Before that I was trying TUMS! That just made the reflux worse, and gave me a nasty stomach ache, nausea, and a migraine to boot.

I am now off all PPI's. I was taking Prilosec daily, but it stopped working, and I was then put on Nexium daily and that worked. When I went gluten free back in April, I also went casein and soy free as well, following the Enterolab results. I could not agree more! My take is I am not looking for a doctor to lead me to good health. I am looking for one to help me make informed decisions. If the doctor is not informed, how the heck are they going to help me?
