    Well, I got the weekly "You're a bad mother, poor role model, lying cheating whore and if I could I'd take the kids away from you" text from the ex. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but not so much The thing is, every afternoon, the first thing Max says to me is "Do we get to stay with you tonight?!" If I tell him no he gets upset.     That's what I usually do too, but last year since I always make cinnamon rolls on Christmas eve to serve Christmas morning, I made a double batch and...... wait for it..... Sliced the extra log of cinnamon roll extra extra thin and layered it on top of the apple pie!!!! To DIE for!!!

    For a 1 crust, I use Pamela's bread flour mix... Melt 1 stick of butter in a pie plate add 2 tbs sugar (white or brown) add 1 c Pamela's Mix well in the pie plate until the flour and butter are well incorporated Pat out into the pie plate Refrigerate for 30 min before filling Kinda tastes like shortbread. LOVE it for pumpkin pies!!

    Portland is the BEST!!! I love that I can take the kids for a walk downtown and walk into almost any restaurant and find something tasty for them. My favorite day was taking my dd to the PSU farmers market and telling her that she can eat anything she could find (which was so many vendors with so many options). We were soooooo sick!!

    He is going to be working with the custodian today to wash the doors. He swims and does gymnastics 2x a week, then on the off days, I take them out for walks, bikerides, trips to the park, etc... Usually by the end of the day he's falling asleep in the car. He's in bed between 730-8pm every night, so sleep isn't an issue either. I proposed to Jesse today...

    My kid is a little delinquent. Not sure how much is him being a 6yo boy and how much of it is the divorce. He took a bark chip and wrote "ass" on the gym door a few times. He makes the worst choices and doesn't think AT ALL about the consequences. I don't know what to do. Therapist? Prison? I've taken away everything in his life except food and bathroom...

    Well, she used to be called a dead fish. She is no longer called a dead fish..... :lol: She doesn't mind the peeing in a bucket thing. Thought she would. But when the company is amazing and you gotta go... You gotta go!! And she's never ever worried about being cold!!
