  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. a couple of months ago i tried the gluten free ginger snaps...and i love them! they are amazing and definitely have a taste and consistency that i have been longing for since my diagnosis! the gluten free granola is also wonderful! i love it! it adds a kick to my breakfast when sprinkled on some good gluten-free yogurt!
  3. has anyone gone to Pei Wei? it is owned by pf chang's, but is more casual and less expensive...they have a gluten-free menu that is amazing!!! check it out if you have one near by!
  4. I just went to PF Changs last wednesday with my non-gluten-free boyfriend for his birthday. We go there alot for special occasions, because it is one of the only places that i can eat and feel safe doing so. we had such a great evening, we shared the gluten-free lettuce wrap things and i got the gluten-free better lemon chicken and he what he wanted...
  5. So every time I go over to my boyfriends house, i need to make sure that i have no remains of any type of tree nut on me. My boy friends little brother is deathly allergic to all peanuts and tree nuts, just one snif or tiny amount of contact will send him to the ER. Well, we are all very active together, cycling 50+ miles at a time, swimming and running...
  6. thanks for the responses. i will most likely be safe and use a glue stick or a wet towel
  7. I work as a personal assistant/ secretary and i was wondering if anyone knows if their is gluten in the sealant on envelopes, you know when you lick them... i heard a that their was, but i am not sure..does anyone know?
  8. thanks for checking into this! very helpful!
  9. also, i was told to never motion someone to come over with one finger (do you know what i mean?) i guess it is very seductive and the men think that you are interested if you do ... i love going to different countries and learning their customs! good luck!
  10. Ive been to Quito 2 times, i absolutely love it there, it is like my second home!!! have a great trip! they eat a ton or bread there! after my first trip there i was diagnosed with celiac, i came home with major intestinal problems...no wonder right? their diet is pretty basic, the fruit their is amazing and also the coffee! oh! and the chocolate...
  11. flying is so frustrating, especially when it is a long flight...yes bringing my own food is what i opt for. I think that CC is my biggest fear when flying and eating food in flight.
  12. hey all, I am a college student living in Northern California and attending Sac State. I have been gluten-free and Celiac since 2004 and am new to this message board. I was just wondering if any of you go to school with me or are in the area. Support groups?
  13. i was wondering if knudesen cottage cheese is gluten free? it has modified food starch and also maltodextrin...does anyone know about this?
  14. its only 84 degrees here in sacramento, ca lovely weather! last week it was around 112, so i dont know what happened, but i love it!
  15. jif seems to be fine for me, but i wont use it if it looks like someone else in my family may have used it. i also LOVE "better than peanut butter" from Trader Joes! it has only 100 calories for 2 tablespoons and way less fat and it has all the taste that i need! try it!
