  2. Well so far as I am able to asertain from my family...as a child I had huge asthma problems which promted A LOT of tests including allergy tests and all that. They were told that I was not to have refined sugars at all. Honey or things like agave nectar are ok...but not refined sugars. Not sure exactly what the issue is in medical terms, but basically a lot...

Where in the world do you find a list of products out there to...
  10. Fiddle-Faddle While I would deffinately agree that Celiac is not the worst thing in the world to have...I would not agree that it is just a minor pain. For some of us our whole lives and health have been completely wrecked due to this disease. I mean we are talking about some serious issues for some...lymphnode infections or cancers, extreme intestinal...
  11. Thanks everyone for your help and opinions. Just helps to know there are others out there. As for getting another Dr. - well to be honest since I am waiting on a decision from SSI, I don't have health insurance and this doctor is the only one I have found who will see me for like $30 cash office visits. So, unfortunatlely something is better than nothing...
  12. Scotty, That is so funny - I just said that exact same thing to my husband the other night. He is a mechanic and was trying desperately to think of how it could be done. It would make life soooo much easier haha. Let me know if you ever hear of such a thing in the future! Dahlia
  13. Hi, I am hoping I am posting to the right area? Well, I am 30 years old and just recently found out after years of severe sickness, medical testing, etc. that my mother forgot to let me in a little thing called Celiac that was apparently diagnosed when I was a child. I won't go into that long story, but basically I knew that up until about the age of 1...
