    I have heard for years that pads and tampons can actually make your periods longer and the cramping more painful due to the chemicals/synthetics in the products. Although I didn't think people were lying when they talked about how their periods were so much easier after switching to all natural products, I just didn't really believe it would make much difference...

    Thanks everyone! Regarding non-conventional medicine, I do have a recommendation for a local doctor. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover him so I have to wait a bit before we see him. I am going the conventional circuit right now and then I will have all those tests and evaluations out of the way. Maybe the GI will be a significant help...or...

    Ug. Unfortunately I am 99% sure she can't do Pepto. That pink color is undoubtedly not natural and she can't do anything with FD&C colors. I'll look into it, but I doubt she can do it. Maybe I can find an alternative with the same active ingredient. Thanks, Cathy

    How do we know which Tums are safe?? I read on a gluten free list that all Tums except one type were safe. I need to know if the type I just got my dd are not safe then! Thanks!

    I'll try to keep this as short as possible. We suspect all four of our dc (and now ourselves) of gluten intolerance.
