  1. Do whatever you have to to eat at this restaurant. not only is it 100% gluten free but its some of the best food i had in a long time...it just melts in your mouth. i went for dinner last night and extended my trip a few hrs so i could have lunch there today
  2. Had two glasses tonite with dinner and loved it but I didnt realize that it was made with barley. Im assuming its safe since they tested it on severe celiacs but wanted to get some feedback. I dont think i developed any symptoms from it but then again i never really know when i get glutened anyway
  3. my doc said he can fix me up in his office but im worried about incontinence of stool and gas and with my ongoing GI problems and chronic hard stools i fear it will just return - any info would be appreciated
  4. got this email from Utz - they are made in a dedicated facility Thank you for your email and phone message. Yes, our potato chips are gluten free as listed and no possibility of cross contamination as the entire plant is gluten free. Our packages will state if there is any chance of cross contamination. Sincerely, Pam
  5. They say gluten free - are they really safe?
  6. You can't receive more PMs till you delete some. The Robinson Family Clinic in Lakeland, FLA offers the Heidelberg Capsule Test. Dr. Robinson also offers other alternative treatments. Lemmeno if you need more info about his clinic.

  9. thanks- the almond milk doesnt bother me. i tried a few other brands that did but the 365 whole foods brand seems to be better tolerated. i think the carrageenan and locust bean gum in the other milks may have been the problem
  10. Skin test was negative except for rye - the blood IgG test from metametrix showed much more positives - not sure how accurate it is
  11. Yes i dont feel any worse from eating any of the foods im allergic too. I was a +5 for ginger - when i eat ginger i do feel a weird buzzing sensation in my head but it does help sooth my stomach. i eat in moderation. I tested severe for Eggs but when i eat eggs i dont really feel ill - had some last week and was fine
  12. my diet is so restricted now but i have found a few things that I enjoy eating and tend to eat them every day..gluten free english muffins w/ almond butter and jelly, Mesa Sunrise cereal w/ almond milk and bananas and blueberries...to name a few on my blood allergy test i was low positive for almonds so not sure if im doing any harm by drinking almond...
  13. has anyone had tests for autoimmunity? i dont know if i have celiac but with all my food sensitivities im worried that i may develop autoimmunity if i havent already. My vit D levels were normal last year and basic blood, thyroid was all normal save for a slightly elevated liver ALT. there is a cytokine panel and CD4/CD8 test and wanted to see if anyone...

  16. oh trust me ive been thru every test and came up negative, however, i was not on a 100% gluten diet when i got tested. still my insides were clean after endoscope and pillcam and colonoscopy. im not prepared to eat gluten for 6 months to a year just to maybe get an accurate diagnosis, so i chose to live gluten free but again i dont know how strict i need...

  19. I still dont know what is safe to eat or not. I am as careful as can be when I eat out but I am no longer that OCD about it and am not sure if i should or shouldnt be. I never got an official celiac diagnosis cause they never found evidence and just think im gluten intolerant. I also dont get horribly sick like others do when they are exposed so that kinda...

You really don't think so? i used to play hockey but had to retire at the age of 28 cause i messed up my back, hate running like raq ball but dont play much. i luv skiing and am going this weekend. i also love to weight train but had to stop cause i found that it was exacerbating my upper GI problems, which is REALLY pissing me off cause i am 15 lbs...
  22. Is it possible mercury could be the cause of all of my health problems? i have 5 dental amalgams and did a hair mercury test years ago and it was a bit elevated. also have had old fillings drilled in the past & the dentists took no precautions whatsoever. is this something i should investigate? is there a simple blood test for this? should i go get...
