    Now I am beginning to understand my son's reaction every time I make chicken chili. I thought Randall's beans were safe (I use the Great Northern ones in my chili).     Okay, now I'm curious. I use a stainless steel colander and I have been using it for both rice pasta and gluten pasta. I always strain the rice pasta first and then rinse it after the gluten pasta before putting it in the dishwasher. I also use my stainless flatware for stirring things and wash in the dishwasher.     It could be that you're sensitive to soy as well. My son's allergist says that many people who are sensitive to milk are also sensitive to soy.
