As someone with Addison's due to pituitary failure, I'd like to add my cautions as well. 20 mg hydrocortisone is the full replacement dose -- i.e., it's (approximately) the amount one's adrenals would normally produce. No, it's only harmful to people who have an allergy or sensitivity. I didn't know I had one until after being gluten-free for a couple of weeks. I guess this is part of the phenomenon others have also noticed, of becoming more sensitive after going off gluten. I wonder what that's all about. Marly -

It's strange because the ingredients don't show anything that I recognize as gluten-ish.. Here they are: Microcrystalline cellulose, Polyalditol, Mannitol, Dicalcium phosphate, Crosprovidone, Magnesium...
