Hmmm............you think everything in your life is going smoothly (gorgeous water), but something just below the surface is going to rock your boat (large creatures). It will be a good thing (Carribean), but you are not so sure. You want to continue with your mundane, albeit safe life (receptionist), but your friends (Swayzes) know it is in your own best... -

Yes, it is possible you have celiac. The pizza is a good indication.....so are your vitamin deficiencies. Some people have issues as a baby, others don't present any symptoms until later in life. And headaches can most definitely be a symptom. If you decide to try going gluten free, you may see improvement in days, or it could take months. Everyone is different... -
Why would you say this? I know eating gluten-free is difficult at first, but it does get better, I swear. And the payoff of feeling so much better and a longer life is soooo worth it. I think you do care, but you're very frustrated right now. It is definitely a lifestyle change. Are you going to let this disease win, just because it isn't as easy as...

You can't eat corn flakes anyway........they contain malt flavoring........unless there's a gluten-free one. Eating basic meat, fruit and veggies is the way to go, especially in the beginning. You don't have to buy alot of specialty gluten-free products. This site gives you the names of companies that will state on their labels whether a product contains...

This will be my goal as well . I did a deep clean of my kitchen this past week, wiping down cabinet shelves and drawers, throwing away old metal pans, etc. I have one more week off from work and plan to tackle the rest of the house, including closets. (Yeah, that's what I always say..........we'll see how much really gets done ) After the holidays... -

Well, today was fun! We played a rowdy game of 'Chicken foot'......it's a form of Dominoes DD and her boyfriend took us to the theater to see "Marley and Me". Excellent movie, but OMG......the previews did not give any warning about the need for tissues! My brother was terribly sick today and could not come. Em.........surely your MIL needs her eyes... -

Merry Christmas, Psillies! I finally have meself in a mellow frame of mind. I have accepted the fact that Christmas cannot be about presents this year. We never spent much in the past, anyway, but this year has been cut even more. There's been this nagging fear that the kids will be disappointed........I know, they're grown, but they're still my kids... -
Ditto on the sugar. I get major bleeding.........and I've had my share of colonoscopies. Unfortunately, fruit does it , too.

Does this mean you've been gluten-free for 7 months? Do you continue to have all your symptoms? If so, you may need to eliminate other things as well, such as dairy. Or.....you may not be as gluten-free as you think. Also, I have not had a problem with the bloating, but from what I have read on this forum, it can take quite a while for that to diminish, even... -

Actually, I think we're moving thru the animal kingdom. Either the ears are getting shorter yet, or the head is getting larger, as also is the black nose. Soooo.....now me thinks it is the head of a koala. Yes... definitely a koala. I had that one, too!!! The wood started to split and it became a tushie torture device Seriously... -

I don't know.......be creative. The best scenario would be if it sticks together, you can shape it into snowballs. Great to hit people with in the heat of summer. If you try this, I'll swear I never told you -

yeah, yeah.......whatever Calm thyself, Soozie!.......and....2 inches?......seriously?..........I think not (just looked at the pic) If that were snow, it would be called a 'light dusting' Since this is such a momentous occassion, you must gather some hail and put it in your freezer.....it's tradition. How does Weezie like it? -
