  1. I haven't had a continuous nights sleep in a long, long time. I am ALWAYS waking up in the middle of the night. This post will hopefully help me out-thanks!
  2. Even if the ingredients look safe, the cross contamination factor would keep me away. A little goes a long way when you are super sensitive like me. I would stay away-better to be safe than sorry.
  3. I have looked at West Soy's Organic Soy Milk and the ingredients look safe- no carrageen. Thing is, I know they process other soy milks that do contain barley and malt, so I fear the CC factor. At this point, I don't know if its worth trying, but it could be an option
  4. I appreciate your responses! Yes, missy'smom, it seems to me that the Silk Soy milk is problematic for me as well. I am starting to believe that the carrageen has something to do with it. Although it is not gluten or a form of gluten, it is a stabilizer, which makes me think that I could be reacting to it.
  5. Tapioca starch disagrees with me, but not the flour. I don't know if this makes any sense though. I eat Food For Life Brown Rice Bread and am fine with the tapioca flour in it. When I was eating yogurt with tapioca starch in it, I noticed a reaction.
  6. YES, I have definitely eaten gluten on purpose when I have been down in the dumps. Some people truly don't have any idea how hard it can be mentally, physically, and emotionally to have celiac disease. If you had to ask them to live a week in our shoes, I bet that they would have more sympathy and understanding! By living a gluten free life, you are...
  7. Honestly, I've never had luck with M&M's. Something about the candy coated shell rubs my body the wrong wrong. I tried looking on the website as well, but they do not list the ingredients. I would stick to the safe side and ditch them.
  8. Any time I have gluten, I immediately feel sleepy as if I just ate a large Thanksgiving dinner! The more gluten I eat, the worse the feeling is. I used to wonder why I would catch myself falling asleep ALL the time, and since self-diagnosis, I know why.
  9. I have recently tried Pacific's Veggie Broth and noticed that I have been having reactions. I am unsure if it is from this product or Silk's Soy milk. Has anyone ever had any issues with this? The ingredients seem to be very safe, but I am extremely sensitive. Also, has anyone ever had any issues with Imagine soups? Any insight would be appreciated.
  10. Krista- When glutened, my face also erupts with acne. I have found that Neutrogena products work the best for those that suffer from celiac disease, and they also back them up with their gluten free list ( which they can email to you). Since you are new to the diet, make sure you read food labels very carefully, as gluten can be found in items you may have...
  11. I am also very sensitive and can't have all things that are labeled "gluten free". These are on that list. The whey in them does not sit well with me.
  12. Unfortunately, I am one of the SEVERELY sensitive people allergic to gluten. I have limited my diet to the very basics of all foods, and quite frankly, sometimes it just gets old. ( As I am sure many of you feel this way on occasion). Cross contamination is a plague of mine, as I am constantly trying foods that are labeled to be "gluten free" only to find...
