I was investigated for anemia that would not respond to iron therapy. My daughter who is also symptom free had very high blood results. -

We will be starting our gluten-free life on Tuesday - giving DD a few days to get used to the idea and me a few days to get the kitchen as gluten-free as I can. Here are my questions.... Should we get new toothbrushes? How about a new washing up bowl? Is a dishwasher enough to get plates etc gluten free? Is there any way to really clean my bread...

I totally understand how you feel, my daughter just turned 11 yrs and was diagnosed on Monday. She's had 2 episodes of stomach cramps in her life, she was tested because I was diagnosed last week. It's hard for a parent and even harder for a child, I've ordered my daughter a couple of kid specific celiac books from amazon and pointed her in the direction... -

My daughter and I were both diagnosed within the last 10 days, neither of us have any physical symptoms to complain of. We have set the date of next Tuesday to begin our gluten free lives, we're been shopping, got some pastas, soups etc plan to buy our "special" toaster etc and this week we are saying goodbye to gluten in style. I don't know how we'll do... -

Hello All, I'm a newbie diagnosed via labs as a Celiac last week, I will be having my EGD tomorrow. I had my kids tested and my daughter Bryony (11yrs) came back positive today. My son garin (4yrs) was negative 18 mths ago on blood & biopsy but is allergic to corn. My daughter Lowri (22mths) came back negative for celiac disease - for now anyway!! ...
