    My canker sores are mostly gone too. The only time I get them is if I have an accidental gluten ingestion. I accidentally had some on Sunday afternoon, I had diarrhea on Sunday night and a big sore on my gum on Monday morning. It's how I know if I was glutened or if I am sick. It will get easier.     I was also at my heaviest when I was diagnosed, despite trying everything possible to lose weight. Once I went gluten-free, the weight started coming off immediately. I have lost close to 30 lbs in nine months. I would love to lose another 10, but if I don't, I'm still happy with how I look and feel. I never EVER thought I would feel this good again.

    I was diagnosed on October 2 and have lost nearly 30 lbs since then. I ran anywhere up to 7 miles at a time 4-6 times a week last summer and kept gaining instead of losing.     I try to avoid it (I see it mostly with chicken), but that's mostly because I don't think it tastes as good as normal chicken. Now that I am gluten-free, I am even more conscious of it since they don't label what the solution is.

    Well, my son's bloodwork all came back negative, but we're still dealing with the same issues as before. Dr. Fasano said to just watch him and to reevaluate him as he gets older.
