  9. ..I haven't had the chance to research this, but... Milk that comes from any breast is made up of the foods that lactating female eats. I just dont understand why a cow wouldnt be included in that theory. Cow's have the same diet everyday. I know this is a factor. So is a cow was fed and all grain diet, why wouldnt that grain protein be present? I buy...

I just needed to post those links....
  11. I just edited and removed the yogurt. I consider my daughter to be very sensitive to gluten. We have a dedicated gluten free toaster and cast iron.... all that. Zobey has had the STONYFIELD'S "gogurt" strawberry yogurt and no reactions. However, I removed it from my post to be on the safe end. I want this compilation of menus to be a good collection of...
  12. Someone told me that being gluten intolerant is inhereted from the mother's genes? Is this true? My middle daughter is the gluten intolerant one. Hmmm. wondering if I should cut the gluten myself and see if I have any obvious changes? I don't have any health issues since I have lost 70 lbs (weight watchers). What do you think?

  17. I have an idea! We were all new here once. Finding food ideas for children is frustrating. Sending them to school almost seems easier to me with packing a lunch and snack than having my gluten-free kid home for vacation this past week! Let's each post a sample one day gluten free menu per post. Maybe we can come up with enough posts to create a little...

  21. My six year daughter has been completely gluten free since early September. She had positive bloodwork. After three days I was in tears as she had diarrhea for a few days. I questioned whether I was doing it right - whether it was the right thing to go gluten free. Well, at the end of the week, she had her first completely normal poop. No more tummy aches...
  22. LIBBY!!! Oh my goodness! My daughter was the same way until we omitted gluten from her diet! I didnt even relate that as a symptom! She has always had clothing issues that I never related to her physical discomfort. I just assumed my kids only liked soft cotton clothing. lol. In fact as a baby, I cloth diapered Zobey because she would cry in disposbles...
  23. Please forgive me if Im totally off base. My daughter is six. She tested positive with a blood test for being "gluten intolerant". My dr. told me that to be diagnosed with celiac disease, she would need and intestinal biopsy. Both he and I agreed that at her young age, it is not a necessary procedure because it is so invasive for a small child. Regardless...
  24. I am still confused about her test results. The Gliadin Ab IGg was very high positive, but she did not register to have a wheat allergy. The milk and egg white were a mild- to moderate positive. Any thoughts on this?
