  7. I am just starting to try to bake non-gluten. When a recipe calls for egg replacer, I think they mean for you to add it dry, not mix it up with water as it says on the box. I just wanted to verify this. Also, if you are using agar agar instead of unflavored gelatin, do you just use it dry out of the package? I have looked and looked for the sweet rice flour...

    I wanted to post a correction. Oxford will pay for the nutritionist to see my daughter at the pediatric Celiac Center, but will not pay for me to see a nutritionist while a patient of a doctor at the adult Celiac Center. The fee is $200.
  9. I have a bag of both but have only used Bob's so far. Bob's lists it's ingredients as Garbanzo beans, fava beans, and Authentic foods lists its as Garbanzo flour, fava flour.   10. The rice pudding was a big success. My puddings are usually thrown together and I hope for the best. This one was leftover white rice, a cup of light coconut milk, pinch salt, two beaten eggs, and some brown sugar. 350' for 40 minutes or until set.   12. My 16 year old loved rice pudding and I would like to make her a dairy free one. I was thinking that coconut milk (we have some light coconut milk leftover) might work. She will drink a little rice milk but so far doesn't like any of the other alternative milks. Thanks.

  17. I am 52. My 16 year old daughter was recently diagnosed via blood test and biopsy. My blood test was high postitive. My endoscopy is scheduled for the end of the week. My issue is my doctor.     I have an appointment at Columbia for my teenage daughter. I was told by the dietician that I could see her and have the appt covered by insurance if I brought my daughter to see one of the doctors there first.
