  1. I don't know the answers.... In my case it sounds as if there is a connection - but I don't know what came first. I've also been reading on a microcolitis forum, and the people dealing with that have loads of experience (the vast majority seem to be gluten-free). As a whole, they seem to have more triggers than Celiacs do. Just wondering about those...
  2. I just want to mention, too, that I was (am?) a bread addict and pasta lover. Never EVER thought I'd be able to live without them. But my tastes have changed (been on the gluten free diet for about 2 months) and I am slowly feeling better. I can imagine that going gluten free in college is a tough thing. 3. I was tentatively diagnosed with celiac disease on 12/31/08 from bloodwork. I've been gluten-free for a good 2 months and slowly feeling better....still have a ways to go, though. A few questions: 1) Shampoos, lotions, etc.....can these cause a problem, too??? 2) Supplements? Someone mentioned B12, how about probioitics, too (as long as they are gluten free?). 3) Fast Food? Due to...
  6. I'm at the point of information overload. What brought me into my Dr: ~9 months of intermittent diarrhea Now, I also realize I was dealing with: Fatigue, abdominal cramping, possible depression, "brain fog" (When you deal with them for so long they sort of become normal, you know?) Test Results: TIS TRANSGLUT AB,IgA 89.8 - U/mL Reference range...
