I am newly diagnosed celiac with an intolerance to nightshades. Been new to all this, its so overwhelming and scary at the moment and get a bit sorry for myself when I try think of meal ideas. I really am struggling to come up with meal ideas, most gluten free pastas have potato starch. Anyone else have the same problem. I need some ideas. Thanks -

Thanks for the replies, I have had my thyroid checked when they did the celiac blood screen and all was good. Had a blood test for a full blood count and to check other deficiencies yesterday just waiting on results. I don't want to take any laxatives, I guess will have to try uping my fibre intake I eat heaps of fruit. I am seeing a dietitian in... -

Thanks so much for the replies, really helpful. Glad to hear after a week you are feeling better, I am hoping I am lucky enough to have some pretty quick results. Funny to hear about nightshades something I never knew much about but I definately have a real problem with potatoes and have done so for yeas. So I will be looking into that much more. ... -
