ARCHIVED Medication
Lisa79 replied to Lisa79's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Would anyone recommend who I can talk to about this? I have tried GP's who I find most say a small trace amount wouldn't hurt, which makes me angry. I was told I probably digest more gluten accidentally that what is in this medication. I have tried my state coeliac society although they have not given me any answers. -
I received this from the manufactures of a medication. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on this? contains a tablet coating called Opaglos which is made by another company. Each Pristiq 50mg tablet contains 13.73 mg of the coating, Opaglos. The manufactuers have confirmed that the coating does contain gliaden gluten and they state that it does...

Thanks for your reply sounds like a similar story to mine, I am taking a pre-biotic mix from my naturopath, l-glutamine, lectin control and gut clear formula. So sounds like she is on to the same path. I cant wait to go back to her on Friday, its been 6 weeks between my last visit. I don't drink a lot of milk, maybe one coffee a week. The rest...

THanks, Oh I cant eat potatoes as I get extremely bloated when I eat them. Thats why I think nightshades may be a problem. I am surprised with tinned peaches, I would have thought the juices were very high in sugar which would be hard to reintroduce sugars. Who put you on the diet? Did you find many intolerances? I might have to chat with my...

The things that changed over the last month, that I can think of. 1. My increased cravings for sugar, I have been quite bad. 2. I stopped taking DTM liquid, which is a supplement from my naturopath, I called her and she has given it to me again, i don't have an appointment to see her for another week although the bottle says may be dangerous when...

ARCHIVED Food Intolerances Besides Gluten
Lisa79 replied to jkr's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
It does take time to heal, which can cause other intolerances in the early stages, when was you diagnosed? I am in the same boat, I am finding other foods irritate me, thinking it could be sugars, which can also be dairy due to the lactose, but I am thinking of possibly suffering from Fructose Malabsorbtion. I am going to ask for the breath test to be... -

Can someone point me in the direction of information on Gluten in Costmetics and Toiletries, I am sure there has been many posts before, its not something I am aware of, I was only under the impression Gluten caused effect if digested? I guess the other thing is I am from Australia so products are probably different to the US. Many Thanks Lisa -
