  1. Hi! What does an "grey area" mean for a Celiac Disease Panel.

    Linda

  2. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  3. Thank you for the responses, I appreciate all of them. I just wish this doctor would have listened to me better and heard me out completely. Takala~ thank you so much for all the links and finding his actual blood work results. I can't say thank you enough. Your response was great. We are in Michigan, US and are going to the University of Michigan...
  4. We went to the Pediatric GI today for my 3 year old son. His lab results (Celiac Panel) came back with the Glidian IGG and IGA positive while the tTg IGG and IGA and the EMA were negative. He told us the GLidian IGG and IGA were false positives since the tTg was negative. Is this possible? I know that it is common for the tTg to be a false negative.....
  5. I know exactly what you are talking about. My son who has had the Celiac Panel (2 out of 5 positive) has the same thing. It looks like he has ate a bucket of sand every time. It is very hard to clean him. I hope you get an answer from the Enterolab.
  6. I had the Celiac Sprue Panel done on myself after my son's came back positive. From what I can tell and understand I had different labs ran. Here is the lab can anybody explain them to me. Also are these accurate or not? Everything is negative but I still have a lot of the symptoms. IGA my result is 121 the parameters are 82 to 453 AB, IGA my result...
  7. I have not read it yet but it was recommended to me by others on this board. It is Celiac Disease in Kids by Danna Korn. You can find it on (Company Name Removed - They Spammed This Forum and are Banned) for 13.00 or so.
  8. Thank you! I appreciate your response.
  9. Thank you so much for the responses. How much gluten should I be giving him for the tests. I haven't taken any gluten out of his diet but want to make sure I am giving him enough. He loves bread.
  10. Thank you. Since he is producing antibodies does it mean he is most likely at least sensitive to gluten or could some else be causing him to produce them besides Celiac or sensitivity? I really appreciate your response and anybody elses.
  11. We are new to all of this. My 3 year old son had the lab work done for Celiac and I have a copy of the results but don't totally understand them. The pediatrician has referred us out to Pediatric GI doctor but that is a over a month away still. His labs are as follow, can somebody help me understand them better. I put his results in bold. The doctor says...

  14. I am in the same spot myself. My 3 year old is in the process of being diagnosed and then the rest of us will be tested. I am also in that grieving spot. How will school be, the holidays, birthdays etc. I am not much help because I am still learning to but wanted to let you know you aren't alone. I will be watching this thread as well because I need...
  15. My son doesn't have a true diagnosis yet but part of his blood work is positive. He is always sick with colds and ear infections. He has had bronchitis several times. He never seems to fully get over things. He has been on about 20 antibiotics in 3 years, has been on breathing treatments. I have figured it is because of Celiac's Disease because they...
