Honey, predisone causes you to gain weight, no matter WHAT you eat or don't eat!! are you going off of it at some point? When my daughter-in-law went off of it, she lost quite a bit. Remember you have to eat to lose weight.....yes I know it sounds funny but you should be eating more than your 3 year old!! Try to count your calories, 1000-1200 a day...

Hi! I just joined this forum a few days ago. In talking to my daughter today, the wedding is in about 11 months and both of us want to loose some weight. It is sad but we both weigh....(glup) 215. Didn't someone say accountability? I started a food dairy but I am not sure how I am going to excersise. I have a bad back and am considered disabled...

I TOTALLY agree!! I love Whole Foods. HAve you seen what Trader Joe's has? It was nice having gluten-free tortillas. The Safeway by us (Cave Creek & Tatum) don't have a lot of items. The Frys by me (Cave Creek & Carefree Hwy) has a lot of items and will order things as I request!! They are great.

Did all of you see the gluten-free food faire April 18th in Peoria? I am going to see what they have!!! I found it on the events directory.

I know what you mean. I have an Austrialain Shepard/Lab mix and he weighs in at about 90lbs. too. But he is my baby. I have two others, one a pure bred Austrialain shepard and the other an aussie mix, they are our babies!!

I too love Carrabas and have never had any issues with G. The last time I was there I had the .......Brian....can't remember the full name. It had goat cheese on it and it was wonderful. If you can eat dairy I would recommend it.

I am in New River...yes this is in AZ. I am east of Anthem, further into the mountains. I LOVE the new Whole Foods in Scottsdale. (Off the 101 and Scottsdale Rd.) They have an entire shelf for gluten free foods. There are also gluten free items throughout the entire store. Love the Chicken tenders and nuggets. Trader Joes has gluten-free tortillas...

WOW, my daughter and I are gluten-free and we both get the foggy brain when we accidently ingest gluten but didn't know it was SO prevalent!! I ate at a bad place the other day and OMG....my belly aches, foggy head, depression, body feels like it has been hit by a truck!! My poor partner is SO careful making sure I don't get sick and then I go and do...

I just joined this forum and looking for fellow AZ's who KNOW what the summers are like!!! UGH!!! We are getting close to the furnace being turned on and I am NOT looking forward to it. Thank goodness for the swimming pool in my back yard. I live in New River. Where is everyone else located? What are you favorite stores for gluten-free products...
