  1. what exactly should I ask them?
  2. I'm new to the gluten-free lifestyle. I'm going out tonight & saw the restaurant's menu online. They have a char-grilled tenderloin. Obviously I would get it with no bun, but does anyone know if that would be gluten-free? thanks
  3. well you are definitely not alone. i just got diagnosed last week & i'm struggling as well. I'm sure i'll get sick of salad & other foods that I know are gluten-free soon. Grocery shopping was very depressing. You are right, all we have to do is change our diet, but it's FOREVER and that's very intimidating. Bummer about no rice & peanuts...
  4. thanks. I'll see if my toaster has that option. I tried the bread i bought that was frozen. defrosted first then toasted. it wasn't awful. i wish it was bigger & fewer calories.
  5. Hello. I just got diagnosed last Thursday. I'm still a little achey myself but hopeful & doing really well so far. I really don't see myself cheating---knowingly anyway. It's seeming to be very hard to learn what to eat & not eat, but i'm getting the hang of it. Good luck to you.
  6. Congratulations. I just got diagnosed last Thursday. I hope I have your success. i would like to drop about 5 lbs. Obviously the goal is to stay gluten free, but a little lb loss would be fine!
  7. This one was pre-sliced but already frozen. I"ll get my hammer ready. i'll keep your name handy for more questions, which will certainly come up!
  8. Thanks I"ll try it. Do I just take it out of the fridge & toast it???
  9. I just got diagnosed with celiac disease a few days ago so I'm virtually clueless about the diet...learning though. I bought some Gluten-Free bread from Whole Foods in their frozen food section. Obviously I keep it frozen, but what do I want to do when I want to eat it? I don't want soggy bread. THANKS to anyone who can help.
  10. Hello. I live in Indianapolis & just got diagnosed with Celiac on Thursday. Looking for help as well!
