  1. I'm so glad I found this board!!!!! Left side pain.....like a rock or CANNONBALL (perfect description,) in my gut! It got so bad that I developed severe back pain because I was always standing funny to compensate and I'd see pictures of myself out with people and I was hunched over because I remember being in severe pain and trying to hide it. It was hard...
  2. I can't eat corn or corn products.....within the first 24 hours, little pimples that itch form all over my face, neck and chest......mainly where I have lymph nodes like under my jaw, behind my ear....sometimes I get them in my mouth, nose or ears.....it's just gross and itchy, did I mention gross? And my lymph nodes swell. Sometimes I look chinless. ...
  3. Umm that's not entirely true, because I'm an aspiring vegetarian and I have low blood sugar. Always had it, and was vegetarian for years. I'm very active (athletic) and couldn't function with low blood sugar, if being a vegetarian wasn't an option with low blood sugar, I wouldn't have been able to be so active for years. Yes, I'll admit I've recently...
  4. I never get constipated, but something internally feels swollen when I get sick and it makes me feel like there's not enough room in my gut....really uncomfortable, painful and I have to pee all the time because I want the pressure in my belly to go away....anything "extra" in there feels like it's pressing on my organs and hurts......I can't even eat too...
  5. I have that problem too, but it depends on the food....and it's a big problem. Even with my food allergies there's different reactions; milk, instantly sick, ice cream......the next day, why? couldn't tell you. I'm allergic to corn too and depending on how I get it I can have my lymph nodes swell either the within hours or the next day and the rash I get...
  6. I'm not defending any insensitive people, so don't misunderstand me, but it's kinda human nature. People are fallible....maybe it's because they are scared, maybe it's because they really don't get it. Like someone mentioned with the arm sling.....it's psychological. I suffered from hypothyroidism for years before being diagnosed.....mainly because...
  7. I looked at the pictures.....doesn't look like the main rash I get. The rash I get subsides with Benadryl too, but depending on how much I've eaten of what I shouldn't have, anywhere from a few days to weeks. It's just that time goes by, I forget and get sooooo hungry! some of the pictures of scaly patches I've had though, but very small and not too often...
  8. Thank you so much for responding......well I DO itch, but I take Benadryll almost daily, partially for itching and other allergy symptoms, and partially for insomnia, I'm a chronic insomniac. I've also tried Ambien and even tiny doses of Xanex....both REALLY GOOD STUFF! But I'm pretty sure Ambien eats holes in people's brains and Xanex is addictive. I...
  9. I wanted to respond to the pain killer part. When I was 17 I had major oral surgury (both my jaws were cut in half and it was approx 6 hour surgery? not sure it was a long time ago,) but I've always just vomited my brains out on pain killers. When I woke up in the hospitol they had a tube down my nose to my tummy to stop me from vomiting and had some pain...
  10. Hi, I'm new and not "officially" diagnosed.....however, I've reluctantly come to the conclusion I cannot eat wheat. I don't think it's celiac, maybe gluten intolerance? I noticed many members of the board here aren't "officially" diagnosed, but have gone gluten free with good results and was hoping I could get some feedback that might help me in managing...
