I too wondered this when first going gluten free as I heard similar comments. My uncle is very sensitive to gluten, as well as other foods, yet he can eat Ezekiel bread with no symptoms. I had some early on after I went gluten free and had no ill effects. As we know, some people don't have symptoms yet have celiac. So just because you don't have the symptoms... -

Just wondering if anyone has had a gluten reaction to El Torito's Sweet Corn Cake Mix. It's masa flour (which I know is corn flour) and it says ground yellow corn and trace of lime, sugar, salt and baking powder. I'm adding butter, water, and sweet creamed corn. I haven't had masa flour since going gluten free and I'm probably missing out. Making a chicken... -

I can't tell you how happy I am to find these recipes. A couple of hours ago I ate a piece of the blueberry pie I made on Saturday because I just couldn't stand it anymore. My stomach is hurting and I feel so bloated. I need to get out of my denial stage... Thank you all for sharing. -
Wow. I think I need that wristband! I've been trying to go gluten free for about 4 months now and I keep cheating and then suffering for a couple of days and then I go about a week and a half and then I cheat again, each time telling my family "don't let me cheat" and then I do.
