  1. Try a Naturepath. They are generally way more open minded, as well as knowledgable about gluten sensitivity.
  2. I like Weny Ellis at Tahoma Clinic in Renton, WA She is a Naturepath and has Celiac herself, very good at finding underlying problems. She also does not take Ins. A little expensive.

    Wendy Ellis Tahoma Clinic Renton, WA Ordered Gluten Sensitivity tests on me after my first interview with her. No other Dr had ever even thought of it. She is very knowledgable and thorough. Has Celiac herself.
  4. I have been going to a Naturepath for the past 6 months and it is hard because most people, including my regular Dr. dont believe any thing she says. But I have to go with my gut feeling and everything Ive researched. It only makes sense to me to work with your body and try to prevent illnesses through nutrition, vitamins and supplements rather than waiting...

    I have the best results with Naturepaths. They seem to have the most knowledge about Celiac in general and certainly took my bone density readings far more seriously than my GYN Dr.
  6. Sounds like you were having an acute indigestion attack. I had those for 25 years before finally having an emergency gall bladder removal. Nothing would help me sleep except laying directly on a heating pad. Antacids might help if you ever do that again. Good luck
  7. Hi, Im very new at this gluten-free stuff myself, just diagnosed 2 mos. ago and I know what you mean about starting to cry about what to eat on a backpaking trip. We are going Kayaking for a week at the end of Aug. and Im getting a little frantic trying to think of nutritious, filling meals for dinner. Ive got breakfast and lunch covered I think: Protien...
