  1. I have been diagnosed as having IBS as well and I have seen so many doctors from allgergist, dermatologist, rheumatologists, gastro's, to GP's. I never had any positive blood work for celiac but I basically figured out on my own I had a problem with grains. Didn't suspect gluten until I started getting these awful hive like rashes on my knees and my primary...
  2. I do like quinoa but I believe it only has 4 grams of protein per serving and 46 grams of carbs. So I could do half serving for dinner probably but for breakfast it has to many carbs. The goats milk cheese sound good...I will definetly look into that. Yum. Thanks for all the great suggestions. In a couple of weeks if I see a reduction in my hives I will try...
  3. Thanks for all the great suggestions. The canned pumpkin thin sounds intersting. I will have to try that. I guess I will have to accept that I won't be eating normal breakfast foods. I bought some ham and today I will try and find some gluten free breakfast sausage. I have had the IgE rast food allergy testing and it came back negative for everything but...
  4. Hello.... I was hoping people could give me some ideas of different thing I could eat for breakfast foods. Here is my current issue....I have gestational diabetes so I have to watch my blood sugar especially in the morning and right before I go to bed. My morning readings are usually a little high. I need to eat some protein. Last pregnancy I ate eggs and...
  5. I'm serisously considering getting IgG testing done. I mostly see a regular MD but I did recently see a naturopath and she suggested to me to have the IgG testing done or try the elimination diet like I have been doing off and on for months. I'm 5 months pregnant and have recently been told by my primary that some of the rash I have looks like DH and to go...
  6. I was wondering where you got IgG testing done at? Did you have to go to a naturopath? I have had Rast testing done and of course negative for everything. But I am really wondering if I have problems with eggs, soy and dairy. I think I will get tested.I live in Washington as well about 45 minutes from Bothell.
  7. I can't agree more with what you said about pre-celiac. I think that is what's going on with me. I haven't had a boipsy yet. I asked the dermatologist if we should do one and he took one look at it and said thats not DH. DH has oozing blisters and it mostly happens to people that are very elderly. I don't think he is very educated in this matter. I didn't...
  8. Crimson, I'm wondering as well what tests they do to confirm IgA deciency. I have read some of your other posts and I saw your pics of your patch tests and your DH blisters. Did a doc biopsy your blister or did they dismiss it?
  9. I can't seem to get a firm diagnoses either. My primary believes I probably have DH and told me to go gluten free and it as helped tremendesly but I think I just got glutened because I have a big hive on my knee that hurts and itchs so bad..it looks like it has fluid under it too. I want to do the past test as well but I'm afraid. If you do it and you get...
  10. I Agree! All the doctors seem to do is dismiss everything...no one will acknowledge that all my symptoms were related but my primary who is a PA. I love talking to everyone on this site because it lets me know I'm not the only one going through this and having a official diagnoses isn't going to make me healthier...following a gluten free diet will. I really...
  11. So I went to the dermatologist the other day because my skin has been itching more over the past few days. I went gluten free about a month ago and have had massive improvements of many aillments and then some skin issues started happening again, I don't know if I accidently got glutened...so I decided maybe if I eat something with gluten I will get a definet...
  12. Hello, I'm wondering if I have DH. My primary believes that I do finally but I haven't had a skin biopsy therefor not a firm diagnoses. I have suspected celiac for a couple of months since I got pregnant and many aillments have become worse. I was most gluten free before pregnancy....I thought I had a bad candidia problem and seemed to have a major improvement...
  13. I'm sorry I got IgG and IgE mixed up. I think the IgE is the RAST test and I had that done and everything came back negative. But ND told me that IgG will dedect more of a sensitivity and IgE is more for a servere allergy.
  14. I haven't had the IgE tests yet. I just saw a naturopathic doctor a week ago and that was something she offered me. She said it cost around 129.00 and insurance doesn't cover that. I wasn't sure at the time because I figured I would just continue with the gluten free and see how it goes but the skin itching got worse again and so I'm wondering if there is...
  15. I have a question. I was diagnosed with DH but I'm questioning that because mine seems so mild compared to all pics of DH I have seen. Mine don't look like blisters. Do they have to look like blisters to be DH?
  16. Hello everyone. I'm new to the site. I have been having health issues for a year and half and been to several doctors including rheumatologists, gastro's, allergists, ENT docs, dermatologists and GP's. I still really haven't gotten a firm diagnoses of celiac or anything else. The last appiontment I had with primary provider she thought I had a rash that liked...
