    If you plan doesn't require you to have a referral, you could just take her to a GI doc would know the most about the testing and entire the process of diagnoses. Shoot, even if you do need a referral, you can tell the ped that you would feel more comfortable taking this further in efforts to help your daughter now....rather than trying to backtrack a year...

    That is really great! My daughter just turned 4. It has been one month since going gluten-free and she's gained 4.5 lbs. Cute little thing now looks a tiny bit pudgie because her height hasn't spiked yet but hey....we'll take it! So I am empathize with how the growing feels. Good for you guys! Christine

    I think I'm having a gluten-free brain freeze. I haev brown rice and it has just that as an inredient. However, the white rice (by Success specifically) looks like it is fortified a bit with Niacin, folic acid etc. I went to their website and they had no mention to microwavable rice.     Thinking back, the pale stools Dina had did not float. Her IgG (blood test) did come back positive, at 75. The second person gave me the specific UPC code of only the Light margarine sticks being gluten-free.
