About Me
My name is Amber Hirschler. I was diagnosed with Dermatitis Herpetiformis in 2009. I suffered for 2 very painful years before my primary Dr. sent me to a Dermatology Dr. who conformed with 2 biopsy 1 biopsy was 1 of the sores on right knee and the other was on left knee without no sore and both conformed postive. Im married to a wonderful man who has been by my side the whole time. His name is Daniel and he is the best tattoo artist ever. We meet and a month 1/2 later we married. He truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

DH ON THE HEAD LOOK JUST LIKE THE SORE ON THE OTHER PARTS WHERE YOU GET IT. EXPECT THAT IT HURTS ALOT TO WASH AND BRUSH YOUR HEAD. JUST BE CAREFUL AND IT GOES AWAY BUT YOU HAVE TO LIVE A VERY STRICT gluten-free LIFE. EAT gluten-free AND ALL YOUR HYGINE PRODUCTS NEED TO BE gluten-free.... NO EXCEPTIONS!!! IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR SCALP CLEAN... -
Ok, here the deal i've been diagnosed with DH and the Doctor just put me on Dapsone and never told me how bad it was. since i have been on this site i have learned alot. ( thank god for this site) so now i've been taking this medication for 7 months and blood test for the last 2 months have had some showing of low blood suger last month and now this month...

Yes that is all my GI Dr. told me to do too. i couldnt believe that the dr. just told me that . my husband and i were in shock and at that time realized anybody can be a dr. but seriously thanks to this website i have learned so much and that is my best advise to you is to keep yourself plugged in to this site as much as possible...

hello, i have DH and i was put on dapsone at first 50mg. and than i went up untill i stopped haveing any break outs. im curently at 100mg. a day. i really dont no why the doctor did it that way but i do know that if you are taking dapsone you have to be watch by your doctor that gives it to you and also they need to have your blood tests every month. i hope...
