  1. Has anyone ever had any trouble with Sam's club meat?? It's the only new thing I've eaten today and I've got stomach pains that could kill an elephant, and my usual other symptoms. This is really annoying!! Has anyone had/heard of any problems with Sam's Club hamburger meat?
  2. I love Kettle Cuisine Chili with Crackers, Glutenfreeda's gluten-free Burrito, Dinty Moore Beef Stew, fruit, nuts, etc.... I have access to a microwave so that's a plus, but I'm looking for some more idea's for when I don't have one...
  3. This really cracked me up.... And wouldn't ya know I can't use the triple antibiotic ointment either? *sigh* Thanks for the idea on the liquid bandaids I'll have to check them out next time I'm in town...
  4. Hi! I've tried paper tape and gauze.... It works...but only to some extent...and it tends to take my skin off with it.... It's good to know I'm not alone though Like I said the duct-tape band-aids DO work
  5. P.S That's a cat scratch from putting nail caps on my kitty.... just FYI
  6. So, my entire life I've been allergic to glue. When I was little I had to wear a heart monitor for several weeks at a time and the little sticky patches would leave angry, red blistery patches on my chest. Any kind of plastic tape did the same thing. But I could tolerate fabric tape to some degree. (The last time I had plastic tape on, it was on less than...
  7. I hadn't thought of it... The corn breads a good idea! Keep the good ideas rolling!!
  8. My family agreed to a gluten-free thanksgiving this year!! (Of course since I'm cooking it they didn't have to MUCH choice) So here's my menu so far... 11. Really? I did not know that.... At least here in the USA they are wheat free...
  12. I'm feeling better than I expected. I had a mild reaction, the worst of which was the headache and brain fog. (Usually my worst symptoms are bathroom related) Thanks for asking I still can't believe I've been off gluten long enough to think the oero tasted nasty
  13. Woot woot!! Also things like Starbursts Skittles Smarties (they don't contain any of the 8 major allergies..they are just sugar lol) Tootsie Rolls and Suckers (I like the chocolate kind) Jolly Ranchers etc.

What works for me is: Drinking LOTS of water Eating red meat (Don't know why it works it just does) NOT taking imodium unless I have too...I just want to get the nasty stuff out of my system.... 17. Hamster101 ~ I REALLY hate fish too! I use things like 'treet' and corned beef Now I really want to try a bento lunch to take to college with me!
  18. The one thing I'm thankful for is at least I'm home this time...with my own bathroom...not out somewhere... I agree with you about the peanut thing, except at least people take a peanut allergy seriously... Most people either haven't heard of celiac disease or believe it's all 'in my head'

  22. It seems every month I get more and more sensitive to wheat...I used to be able to eat out more...at certain places...and now I can't eat out hardly at all. I can't eat anything that's "made in the same facility as".... It's a struggle
  23. I have a newly diagnosed friend who LOVES tapioca and has been experiencing some glutened symptoms recently...could it be related to the tapioca?
  24. I personally have TWO cats (my family owns 6 all together) and both of my cats have a SEVERE flea allergy. One of them is BEYOND picky due to a seizure she had when she was a kitten.
