  1. I ran across your post when I did a search to see if other people have had a bad reaction to quinoa. I feel pretty sick. I had a dinner party and made a quinoa salad. It was very good, but now I feel sick. It's been several days. It usually takes me a week to recover from anything :-(. I think my stomach must be really sensitive and just can't handle...
  2. I'm lucky enough to have a gluten free bakery near my home, so I can't comment on the bread, although sometimes in a pinch I do buckle down and use the TJ's rice bread. I also eat rice cakes a lot. It's a bit cheaper than buying from the gluten-free bakery. I'm also considering getting a breadmaker and making my own. As for the wine. I don't have any...
  3. Thanks. I'm unfortunately very sensitive. It doesn't take much to make me sick. It's a drag. However, I'm relatively newly diagnosed (8 months or so) and being this careful has kept me from getting sick. I'll probably do a combination of cleaning the oven with cleaning solution and using the clean setting just to be certain there's no residue. Thanks again...
  4. I just moved into a new apartment and am not certain what I should do to remove any traces of gluten from the oven. It looks as if it was thoroughly cleaned. Does using the clean setting work? I've heard you cannot burn gluten away by putting on the clean setting. Is that true? Thanks so much!
