  1. It's likely an option in the admin panel, as to whether to show it or not. I'm not suggesting we give exact locations, just the country the person lives in. If some members had an issue, then perhaps an option to hide their location.
  2. Hey guys, Loving the forum, it's an awesome resource. I notice we've quite a diverse crowd here, though I'd say predominantly US based. Much of the advice I received in a particular topic, was aimed at those in the US. I'd find it extremely useful, to have specific location based forums, especially for gluten free foods and ingredients. I realise...
  3. I've just emailed Kelloggs, probably in vain, but at least I've got it off my chest. It was sent from my iPad, so likely full of typos haha.
  4. Hi guys we don't have any of those cereals here in th UK. We have tons of variety but none of he keloggs gluten free variety, which is a shame.
  5. thanks guys, they're officially ditched. Vie purchased some gluten free corn flakes. Wow the gluten free alternatives are 3x the price here for 1/3 the amount. What annoys me, is that keloggs have a great opportunity with corn flakes and rice krispies, to make them gluten free, I'm certain the barley extract isn't essential. Its a big shame. I might even...
  6. I'm new to all this too. Its not easy. Coming to terms with a gluten free diet is hard enough. Let alone the possibility of other intollerances. *bangs head*. Personally I'd not want to cut something out unless I was certain it were an issue. Sugar of course is a huge thing to try and avoid. If i suspected something, id likely eat more of it for a week...
  7. I gotta say, I was just about to make a similar post. Personally, I find the pre moderation rather frustrating. It takes away the dynamics of a forum. I run a forum with 2 million members and am admin at another with 4 million posts. So I do understand the issues with spammers. BUT a good moderating team, can surely handle that? Rather than pre approving...
  8. Ive been gluten free for about a month now. I've not knowingly consumed anything containing gluten. Then this evening I went to buy a new box of rice Krispies. I noticed the ricicles and wondered whether they too, were gluten free. One of the ingredients is barley malt extract, damn. Curiously, i checked the ingredients of the rice krispies and to my amazement...
  9. Hey guys I've had this odd issues for years. A White itchy welt can very suddenly appear. Usually on my chest or cheek. I'm certain it's not an insect bite. I can be out and suddenly a welt appears on my face. They look similar to a nettle sting. This morning I woke up and while I was getting ready, one appeared on my chest. The only thing...
  10. Thanks for the replies After much thought, I decided to go "cold turkey" and just put up with whatever symptoms I get as a result. I've not taken a tablet now for 48 hours and so far no bad ill effects. *touch wood*. I am hoping to wake up tomorrow morning, a little less exhausted. Maybe I'll even be able to get some work done. I guess we...
  11. Hey guys, I've suffered with constant fatigue, anxiety, sore eyes and various other issues most of my adult life. The idea of going to my GP made me anxious. I finally forced myself to go, he right away prescribed 10mg of celexa for my anxiety. He also did a blood test for hypothyroidism, which come back negative. He wasn't interested in testing...
  12. Hey guys, In short, I'm a 30 year old guy from the UK, who's suffered with fatigue for roughly 18 years. I've not had even an hour of feeling "awake" since I was about 12. I'm always tired regardless of sleep pattern, my diet (not tried gluten free yet), exercise levels etc. For the same amount of time I've had sore eyes, particularly sensitive to florescent...
