  1. I had this exact same thing. Turns out it was dairy. I was eating gluten-free cheese and stuff. I stay away from cheese and dairy, and i'm fine. Today I had ice cream. I was doubled over. Maybe it's dairy? I read a couple places that a lot of people who have a problem with gluten have a problem with dairy.
  2. My 3 year old has been gluten free for about 48 hours. He was a once every 3-4 day pooper. He would strain and turn red. He would hold it. He would get a little out and stop. Since he has been gluten free, he has been in the bathroom 3 times today. It's not d, and it's not c. It's a normal movment. Is this common when starting the gluten-free diet in children...
  3. HI! I"m 28 in the Daytona Beach area. Have a 3 year old, and a 5 year old. Waiting on test results to come back next week. Have been gluten-free for 2 weeks now. Was also on Dr. Phil in Sept, and if it wasn't for all his show has done for me, I would have NEVER known! I can't find any support groups in the area and thinking about starting one.
  4. I'd like some information as well. We don't have any support in our area. (Daytona Beach, FL)
  5. Thank you. My older son wanted poptarts yesterday. I explained that Dean needed to eat more like mommy, because bread made his tummy hurt. That's all I said. This morning, my older son left a pop tart sitting on the table. Dean came over and said "Mommy, I no like to eat poptarts. They make my belly hurt!" So now I guess I am going to be more strict abot...
  6. My 3 year old has had digestion issues since he was born. MAJOR food allergies form about 2 weeks. Allergic to ALL formulas. I ended up nursing him and cutting out all casein and eggs. I was a differnt baby. He still had reflux. Was always (still is) constipated. Reflux is still bad. He was a silent refluxer. The GI told me to keep him on Miralax. I refused...
  7. Any one know if this is gluten-free? I looked on their website, and all it says that if you are unsure, you shouln't eat it. Of course they are closed today. Just wondering if anyone knew. Thanks.
  8. My husband even thinks that my 3 year old's never sleeping is "habbit". He insists on sleeping in my bed. He plays with my hair ALL night. Yes it gets old. But when I lay with him at night, no matter what bed he is in(he can start in his bed, but he never lasts) he always tells me his belly hurts. He points to his belly and his throat. Once or twice, ok....
  9. I just wanted to chime in here. I've just been diagnosed, and I'm going to have the lab work done in 10 minutes. Testing my 3 year old also due to symptoms. I went to my inlaws last weekend. They told me it was all in my head. The told me that I "Over medicate" my son. He has asthma, and reflux. I had given him a breathing treatment sice he was up ALL...
