    My doctor is good (I think). He more or less told me to stay away from gluten and that possiblty after a year I could have some once in awhile. He also told me to get the book Glutenfree Living by Betty Haggman.

  5. Can we have it? I have been looking very closely at seasonong ingredients. I ate at a restaurant and got ill. Anyways, I have been looking at the garlic powders closely and they don't show the ingredients on the lable? Asnyone know for sure?

    I was diagnosed by my family doctor. He just told me to go on the gluten-free diet. Should I seek a GI doctor too or just stick with my family dr.?
  8. My mon has RA and I feel foryou because it is a horrible disease. I wonder if you had the RA first and then the celiac disease. The only reason I say this is because I have a autoimmune thyroid disease and RA is anotherr autoimmune disease. What I have read about these two diseases is that celiac disease can come after.     Thanks! I have always had trouble sleeping when I am stressed but now it is horrible! I wake up at all hours in the night. I take Melatonin ( a natural sleeping aid) but it seems to not work all the time. So anyone else that reads this you may want to try Melatonin.

    Hi. I am trying to read these posts and I can't find one that goes directly with my question. Is sleep and gluten-free releated? I have been diagnosed with the disease for about a month and since I have been on the diet I cannot get to sleep, and on last Saturaday I could not wake up?
  11. Ok. I am new at this and someone pinned a message about weight watchers gluten-free frozen meals and I can't find it to see the reply. So has anyone tried or know of any gluten-free frozen meals?I have to bring dinner to work twice a week and it is nice to have pre-made stuff. Any suggestions?

    I have a question.. I like to cook my own meals but it seems hard when I cannot use many seasonings. For example, no beef or chicken broth. Does anyone know of a solution for me? A product that would allow me to cook more things that I like?
