ARCHIVED Today Is A Good Day And Tomorrow Will Be Better!
joej1 replied to liss7217's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Thats so emotional reading that. I think a lot of us can relate to similar experiences. I faced a ton of health problems myself for a few years. And my girlfriend was there for me the whole time with the doctors visits and talking about health all the time. Your story is so much similar to mine except for differing symptoms. I have been off gluten for... -
ARCHIVED Brain Fog / Organix Testing
joej1 replied to joej1's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Haha yea there are always questions with this stuff eh? Well it can take a long time to heal from all this. Organix testing basically tests markers in your body to test energy production, carb/fat metabolism, detox capacity and things like that. It also tests for markers of candida/bacterial overgrowth. I mean the end result will probably be the same... -
ARCHIVED Brain Fog / Organix Testing
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hey guys, I think my case was pretty severe. Had bad adrenal function, brain fog, dizziness, anxiety blah blah blah. I have been off gluten for 3 months and while the anxiety/panic symptoms are doing a bit better my energy levels and brain fog are still up there. I'm sure i have pretty bad intestinal issues, leaky gut, etc. My best guess is that this... -
ARCHIVED Whole Food Only Diet
joej1 replied to xxkristin's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
A lot of people have problems with dairy until they heal up. Take all dairy out for a few weeks then add it back in and see how you feel. At least that way you will know. -
ARCHIVED Overeating/cravings
joej1 replied to joej1's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Well yea my body wants fats but i don't think i am able to absorb them in large quantities right now. Carbs from root veggies and sweet potatoes usually make me feel pretty good and i think i absorb them better. Its easy to get plenty of carbs without grains if you use the root veggies and squashes. I don't eat white potatoes either. My main problem is... -
ARCHIVED Overeating/cravings
joej1 replied to joej1's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Thanks, i appreciate it. Yea i feel like my body is almost more worried about the vitamins and minerals than it is with the calories at this point. I seem to feel my best when I am eating lots of high nutrient food that is not necessarily that high in calories. Almost like my body just wants the most basic things to start rebuilding -
ARCHIVED Overeating/cravings

Hey guys, I'm about 3 months off gluten right now and on a fairly low carb diet. Basically no grains and trying to limit high carb veggies like potatoes. Since going off gluten i have had some cravings mainly for fat. Things like nut butters, coconut butter, bacon, basically any high calorie food. I always end up overeating these things when i eat... -
ARCHIVED Recovery And Adrenal Fatigue
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I have been off gluten for 2 and a half months. My issues have included adrenal fatigue, H. Pylori infection, possible gut dysbiosis all facilitated by gluten. I was wondering if there was anybody else out there who had similar issues with adrenal fatigue and what they did to stimulate recovery post-gluten? -Joe -
ARCHIVED Gluten Free On The Road
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hey guys, I'm heading a few hours away to visit some family members tomorrow. Besides for the usual stuff of having to watch what i eat and bring my own snacks and all that what do you recommend for staying gluten free while traveling? I am thinking about bringing my own skillet/spatula to dedicate for just my cooking. I'm new to all this and haven... -
ARCHIVED I Need To Start A Rotational Diet - Is Anyone Else Familiar With It?
joej1 replied to Evangeline's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I am doing a "not so strict" rotation diet right now. Just making sure to rotate your foods and not eat the same thing every couple days. There are a few things you should realize. 1. Gluten is probably what caused most of your other sensitizations 2. How long have you been off gluten? You will probably need to be off dairy for a few months too. ... -
ARCHIVED Detox Fasting /probiotics
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I am having a rough time this week figuring out what to do. I am gluten free for about 2 and a half months. The first month of that i was wiping out an H. pylori infection. The next phase of the program has me taking probiotics daily. I feel like my stomach and system is doing a lot of stuff right now. I don't have much of an appetite and i am on a low... -
ARCHIVED Post- Gluten
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
So i have been on the gluten free diet for around 2 months as well as wiping out an H. pylori infection. My body has been detoxing a lot and changing a lot. I think i am answering my own question here but i have had adrenal issues for the past few years but it's pretty normal to feel a little more exhausted and fatigued than normal during the first few... -
ARCHIVED Food Intolerance/cocoa Pulse Testing
joej1 replied to joej1's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Really? I have been trying it for 2 days and have already pinpointed eggs and brazil nuts as possible offenders. Check your pulse on an empty stomach before eating. Then immediately after eating a food. Then 15, 30 after that. It seems to work for me. I'm going to repeat the test with any possible offenders to double check. It seems like i have 2 typical... -
ARCHIVED Food Intolerance/cocoa Pulse Testing
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Does anybody else on here have experience with eliminating/identifying food intolerances by using the Cocoa pulse testing? testing your pulse before a meal, then after 15 and 30 minutes? I just started doing this today and i think its going to be a huge help. -
ARCHIVED Probiotics/recovery Treatment Side Effects
joej1 replied to joej1's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Open Original Shared Link I am also taking Sach B. capsules with them. The probiotics are refrigerated. Dose is supposed to be 1 tsp. in the am and 1 tsp at night. I started off with half a dose and actually the first few days i felt pretty good but as i upped the dose and around days 3-4-5 started feeling bad. The guy i'm working with thinks that... -
ARCHIVED Probiotics/recovery Treatment Side Effects
joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hey guys. I found out i probably have leaky gut/gluten intolerance/h. pylori infection a few months ago. I have been off gluten for 2 and a half months. I am on a program to rebuilt the gut. I was on a 1 month treatment to wipe out the H. pylori infection. I was starting to feel better but when i started the 2nd phase and the probiotics they seem to... -
hey i have been off gluten for about 2 months now. It took me a while but i don't eat red meat right now either. I also had an H. pylori infection and probably leaky gut and messed up digestion. I can handle chicken/fish/light pork but i have a problem with red meat/heavy pork (sausages, patties, etc.). In my case i think it has to do with a digestive...

So I am off gluten for 2 months, but i have had a pretty severe case involving adrenal fatigue, H. Pylori infections and the like. I have been treating the H. Pylori and being off gluten the at the same time. I have not had a very high sex drive over the last few years. Actually it has slowly decreased. However, I understand this is one of the things that...

joej1 posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hey guys, I'm new on this forum. I am gluten free for about 2 months now but i had H. Pylori which i have treated and should be gone by now. I also most likely have leaky gut and adrenal fatigue. I was just wondering what solutions you guys have had for detoxing/healing leaky gut and bacteria issues on the gluten free diet? I am basically on a rotation...
