  1. ajlauer- And you changed yours. You have cute kids!
  2. Yippie! I did it (well, my hubby did it)! Thanks for all your help. I used that picsize program. Those are my boys!
  3. I just back from there, it went pretty well and tasted really good. I got a plain steak, veggies and baked potato with only butter. I called ahead and talked to the manager and I was afraid then that it wasn't going to go well because she didn't even know what gluten was. But when I got there she came to my table and apparently caught my order before it went...
  4. Awesome, thanks. I'll try it out.
  5. I wonder what we can do to help make it so doctors know more and test for it. I read somewhere that in Italy they test everyone when they are young because it's so common over there. But we're finding out it's not uncommon here. They should blood test everyone who is part of a race that it is more common in, I believe that I read that it's common in Northern...
  6. Wow, I feel bad that so many of you had to go through all those problems! I was very lucky with my diagnosis. I had been feeling sick off and on for a couple years, but I thought that was just normal for me so I ignored it. Then it started getting worse last year where I was throwing up about once a week (I started asking my mom to bring home barf bags from...
  7. Wow! It's amazing how many things we have to watch out for! It very well could be in my chapstick or lotions. It's bad enough that we have to worry about foods, now this stuff too! You know I was just thinking as I was biting my nail that I do that a lot and that's one way I could be ingesting my lotions. I use a lot of different kinds of lotions too....
  8. It is very possible that I could be getting some gluten in my diet somewhere, I haven't researched any of my lipsticks or anything. I don't wear those very often though. What's weird is it usually only in the morning. celiac3270-If you don't mind me asking, what was your surgery for?
  9. I've been gluten free for a couple months now. (At least as far as I know.) But I still feel icky (upset stomach, lightheaded) in the mornings before I eat. Is that a celiac thing? And is it normal? Maybe it's low blood sugar?
  10. My family and I are going to Black Angus (aka Stuart Anderson's) tomorrow night. I haven't been there since my diagnosis. Does anyone know if they are good to celiacs? Or any good menu items? Thanks!
  11. Thanks for helping find out where to go, now I just need to figure out how to resize my own photo to get it down to 50KB, right now it's 1.8MB. I'll ask my husband tomorrow, unless it's really easy and somebody can explain how to use your own photo.
  12. How do I get a picture by my name like some people have? Or is that only for special people?
