  1. I was wondering about wheat straw as well I have some bales of it in my deer blind that I use to sit on and every time I went hunting I felt terrible and I could always see dust from the bales flying around in the air. I think i will take them out to see if it makes a difference.
  2. I Agree it is miserable not being able to sleep. Thanks for the advice I will try the magnesium to see if that helps. I know I have a malabsortion problem I have been taking B-12 injections every 2 weeks for over 10 years now so I would imagine that I am not asorbing other vital nutrients as well.

  4. You can just type in gluten free candy in the search engine on the computer I have found that most candy is gluten free but it never hurts to double check. there is also an article on gluten free candy in the last issue of Living Without magizine you should be able to pull that up on line as well if you don't have the magizine.

The problem is I'm having horrible insomnia and also leg cramps nightly. A lot of times at night it just seems that i can't shut my mind off. I also have lost aprox. 40 lbs in the last 40 day's. Is this normal when going gluten free?...

    ARCHIVED Shrinking?

Being newly diagnosed I am still going through all my test. I just had my dexa scan yesterday and I was a little suprised when they measured my height to find that I am 2" shorter than I remembered.it has been several years since I was last measured but I didn't realize you could actually shrink that much in height. Has anyone ever had this problem.

  13. Hi, I'm new to this forum and also new to gluten free. I was just diagnosed in Sept. of this year after a lifetime of problems. I find that I am doing well most day's with being gluten free, and I have not intentionally contaminated myself. But it is very hard to figure out all the "hidden Gluten" in a lot of products.
